Can you shut off the spinning beater bar for wood floors?

There isn’t a button to shut the rotary bar off but I have used it on my wood floor. It adjusts to the different levels. It’s a real soft brush. I really like mine as it is very lightweight.

If I try this vacuum cleaner and do not like it, can it be returned? The policy says unused items may be returned.

It's from Amazon I believe with 30 day return. But, I love mine.

can B&D 40v batteries be used with this?
