I purchased this natural mineral oil after I purchased a new cutting board. The cutting board manufacturer recommended oiling the board daily for one week prior to use. The oil I received was an excellent product, with a food grade rating which is important when using on your kitchen cutting boards. The product absorbs easily with no smell and a clear appearance. I'd recommend this product to anyone finding the need for cutting board oil. I even freshened up my older wooden cutting boards, making them look like new again!

My wooden boards were dry and starting to look gray — a couple coats of this and they're rich and smooth again. Food grade, totally odorless, and absorbs well overnight. Many have said they received a leaking bottle. I was lucky as the inner seal was not completely adhered, as some have also noted. The bottle seemed to leak from beneath the cap so a slippery film remained on the bottle. I think there is a quality control issue with the bottle that should be looked into. As for the contents, it works well, no odor. I tried it on an old wood cutting board and it worked amazingly well. I look forward to using it on my new cutting boards.
