I purchased the Green Tea (Matcha) scrub in May and have thoroughly enjoyed it as my daily morning facial wash. For context, I am a 36 year old white female living in the hot and humid American Southeast; I have quite decent skin for my age (some fine lines, no acne or other persistent issues), no allergies or sensitivities of note, and I love to take care of my skin. This was the second Lily Sado product I purchased, having had a positive first experience with a moisturizer. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this product, unless you are looking for that nostalgic scratchy, slightly raw feeling you get from drug store exfoliants. This is a gentle cleanser--I like to take the tiniest amount from the jar with my fingertips, swirl it into a lather, and cover my entire face, neck, and decolletage; it washes off cleanly and easily and when I dry my face off, my skin feels soft and supple. And when I say tiniest, I mean it--I purchased this in May, use it once daily, and feel I have barely made a dent in the jar, which confirms its value for the money. I personally am not sensitive to scents in products, so this item's very subtle, naturalistic scent is not a downside; it has a botanical, uplifting quality that is perfect for the morning. I am a devotee of skin care in general and Korean products in particular, and am happy I made this part of my daily routine.

The scrub is very exfoliating and leaves my skin soft. You do have to use at least a fingertip size to get a good exfoliation and the jar is much tinier than it appears in the pictures. I think I will get maybe 20 uses out of it, which is a much higher price point than I'm used to paying for other high quality scrubs. The ingredients are good quality so it's a fair enough price for that part. Honestly, I could get the same results with regular cane sugar, coconut oil and a sprinkle of matcha powder. 3.5 stars for me.

I have been really enjoying this stuff. I feel like it exfoliates without drying my skin. I have really oily skin and wear makeup, it pretty much takes my makeup off and doesn’t make my skin feel dry or too moisturized since I already have oily skin. I use toner right after and looking at the cotton pads, there’s hardly any dirt or makeup so I feel it’s doing its job.

I've used another green tea scrub it was nice Lily is the cats meow!! It comes with a little spoon to get the product out so there is no contamination . The scrub is gentle as far as the mixture but as gritty as you want using no water a little water etc. It rinses like a dream making my face clean and rejuvenated. No after dryness. I will buy this product again and again!
