My hairdresser warmed it up for the winter but it still kept turning yellow and the purple shampoo my hairdresser recommended was so drying on my now bleached and damaged hair. It's easy to use because it requires no mixing and I just squirted what I needed which was about a quarter of a tube for my neck length hair, straight into my hand and then massaged it in and left for 15 minutes. It didn't stain my hand. I then rinsed it off and hair has been left a lovely cool dark blonde. It feels so healthy and smooth too. Absolutely love it and hope it never gets discontinued. I wash my hair, then apply a small amount of conditioner, then wet my gloved hands and apply the mask, I left on for 15mins, but will leave longer next time, then rinse. It leaves your hair nice and shiny I do find it a little drying which is why I condition first. It does gradually wash out but I top it up every time I wash my hair. It was a light auburn/brownish tone on medium blonde hair. Although this is not for covering grey, It did refresh my flyaway hair until I could do a full colour.
