Q: I can use for sthill 700 or 800?

Stihl 700 and 800 are backpack blowers. This unit is only for hand held blowers. Our other racks with hold those blowers and you will want the adapters for added support.

Q: What are the two hooks at each side used for? Doesn't look like they are needed.

Have no idea as to why the hooks are there. My blower didnt fit and mount was returned. However looking at it, could be that blower extension tube my ride there instead of sticking so far out from blower when in transit.

Q: will this fit a stihl bg 86
