Tillamook Country Smoker Real Hardwood Smoked Beef Jerky, Honey Glazed, 10 Ounce

The honey version is so delicious and tender and addictive in the best way. This is a great snack albeit a bit sticky if you eat out of the bag, so I put a few pieces in a small bowl to eat to avoid messy hands. Most of this beef jerky is melt in your mouth tender. The few chewy bites (on occasion) are a good jaw workout. 👍

Tillamook is an awesome beef jerky retailer. You can taste the care that went into making it. The flavor pops and is not overly salty

More chewy and harder than other brands and this brand gets stuck in my teeth which is something I normally don’t have an issue with. However, it tastes soooooo good. You get a slightly sweet flavor at first but definitely taste the flavor of the meat. You can’t really detect honey if you didn’t know. But then at the end there’s this nice little spice of pepper. I typically can’t do anything spicy, even black pepper. I have passed up on so many meals because they say there’s no spice yet when I order and taste it it’s too spicy. So I’d say it’s very mild but still there. I had a hard time eating only the serving size because it’s so good. Next time I purchase it I’m going to have to divide it in small baggies because I ate it all in 3 sittings when there’s supposed to be 5 servings per bag. It’s very good if you don’t have teeth issues.

This is after I had 2 pieces. I’ve tried many jerkies from Amazon, but this definitely is the most tender one I’ve ever had. Didn’t feel any smokiness or honey flavor, but it definitely is a delicious jerky and I’m planning to order some more.

I'd like to start by stating that I review products very rarely. Once a year at most. I'm one of those people who only posts a review when I'm absolutely appalled by the product. Tillacrook Country Jerky has been rewarded my 1 star review of the year, this early into 2024! Congratulations! I would also like to state that I am in no way a connoisseur of beef jerky. But I've had mainstream jerky(such as Jack Links) & I've also had authentic jerky straight from the meat market. I'd like to think I have a general idea of what to look for in jerky. This however, is the absolute worst beef jerky I have ever had. The consistency of this beef jerky is not there. It can be thick, thin, dry, moist, fatty, lean & absolutely everywhere in between! I was mindlessly putting my hands in the bag when I first opened it, grabbing random pieces. My initial thought was that the flavor of it wasn't too bad. The next piece I grabbed, polar opposite. Mushy, moist, tasted funky. I honestly thought I was eating some "raw" jerky, I even spit it out of my mouth to ensure it was cooked. I then started digging through the bag to see what I ACTUALLY was eating & I was horrified. With that being said, I end my rant. I do however leave you with one question to ask yourself, would YOU eat the beef jerky pictured above? P.S. - If anyone's hungry, there's a brand new unopened bag of this "jerky" in my garbage can. If you're in dire need of food, please don't punish yourself by grabbing it. I'd rather treat you to a nice home cooked meal. I didn't even want to feed this to my dogs!

Tender and flavorful. This was the perfect snack for our cruise. Kept me filled with protein when I needed a quick snack.
