Tillamook Country Smoker Real Hardwood Smoked Beef Jerky, Honey Glazed, 10 Ounce

For anyone who is unaware Tillamook is located right here in the states. The company is in Oregon and it is truly good to know where my food or should I say jerky is coming from. I have nothing negative to say regarding this jerky. I feel it is priced extremely well compared to other brand jerky. A little more than eleven dollars gets you ten ounces compared to two or three ounces like similar jerky. It is 100% beef and sourced from the company, Tillamook instead of questionable beef. The jerky has a soft bite to it rather than traditional jerky. it is flavorful and has a sweet taste to it. It is not chewy; therefore, you have to be careful not to eat the whole bag all at once.

Tillamook is the very best jerky and we all love it. They tend to use more tender and softer cuts of beef and the Honey Glazed is probably our favorite one of all. Juicy and smoky sweet with excellent flavor and texture. Can't go wrong with Tillamook from beautiful Oregon!

More chewy and harder than other brands and this brand gets stuck in my teeth which is something I normally don’t have an issue with. However, it tastes soooooo good. You get a slightly sweet flavor at first but definitely taste the flavor of the meat. You can’t really detect honey if you didn’t know. But then at the end there’s this nice little spice of pepper. I typically can’t do anything spicy, even black pepper. I have passed up on so many meals because they say there’s no spice yet when I order and taste it it’s too spicy. So I’d say it’s very mild but still there. I had a hard time eating only the serving size because it’s so good. Next time I purchase it I’m going to have to divide it in small baggies because I ate it all in 3 sittings when there’s supposed to be 5 servings per bag. It’s very good if you don’t have teeth issues.

This jerky is awesome! I like the fact that it is soft yet jerky like. And it has the best flavor. I would definitely buy again.

This stuff is delicious! Taste is amazing---right up there with the expensive stuff. Soft, which is what I love. Not tough and chewy.

These were okay. They weren't exactly my cup of tea because there were some pieces in it that were fatty and tough to eat. The other pieces were great in it and the taste was good but it just doesn't fit the kind of jerky I get and I probably wouldn't buy it myself again but it was good tasting. If they could make this with less fatty pieces in it and not so tough to eat I would probably buy again but I'm going to go back to trying some other brands instead.

THIS IS NOT JERKY!!!!! Read on... I bought 2-Spicy & Sweet, 2-Teriyaki, 3-Old Fashioned, and one canister of the sticks. I gave my daughter one bag of each, *trying* to explain that this is the best "jerky" in the world... EXCEPT it's not anymore. I don't get to the PNW area often and so when I get back to Kentucky, I crave Tillamook jerky. BUT..... THIS IS NOT TILLAMOOK JERKY!!!! Or at least the Tillamook jerky of old that I grew to love and craved. Nothing is the same. Not the "meat" (I don't think it's meat tbh), not the flavor, not the texture, nothing. I'm not sure what's happened with the company, but this new "jerky" isn't....well.... jerky at all. The texture is weird and it's NOT dehydrated. Whatever THIS is, it's more like chunks of "PRESERVED FLAVORED PROCESSED PARTS" rather than Tillamook jerky used to be. As you chew, it somehow actually turns to powder (like a cracker) in your mouth. Which is weird because the chunks are still so wet and greasy as you can see in the pictures. It's translucent as well. That's what leads me to believe it's not slab sliced and is processed meat chunks. I don't like it. Not one bit. This is an abomination and Tillamook should be embarrassed of whatever this stuff is. I wish I could return but my 4 year-old grandson opened all the bags. He kind of liked the first piece but when it started turning to powder in his mouth, he spit it out. I actually might put it in the dehydrator and see what happens. *To whomever at Tillamook changed things: You need to be fired *To whomever is the boss of the person that made these changes: FIRE THEM. They've ruined your product, embarrassed the entire company and tarnished the Tillamook name. Side note: I'm not sure if what's being sold in brick & mortar stores in the PNW is the original, actual jerky or not, BUT if it is, I highly suggest buying that instead of this disgusting mess.

The honey glaze is delicious. I recently was diagnosed with Telogen Effluvium. This has been devastating to me. I went from a beautiful head of hair to such loss of it. It was due to stress, low vit d and poor diet. This beef jerky has saved me. It is a fantastic source of protein which lowers the cortisol levels which contribute to hair loss. I've always drank a few cups of coffee in the am on an empty stomach. Just escalated the cortisol level. Now I have a few pieces of this delicious jerky with my coffee. Unfortunately, I'm not a meat eater. I'm not a vegan just do not like the taste of any meat. This has saved me. It's low in calories and meets alot of my protein needs. Thank you for making this product. And, for all the women out there who also have come down with thus horrible affliction..I feel your pain. This is devastating. Pls order this if you need protein to help with hair growth. And, to all the women who have lost hair in due to a more severe medical problem, I honor you!
