These are quite small, that is why I chose them.
When I made the box pictured, I cut the top too short--I didn't leave much room for a latch or hinges. These work very well for small decorative/keepsake boxes, but I wouldn't recommend them for kitchen cabinets as some here seem to expect. Just for different decorative boxes, I use 6 or more different sizes and types oof hinges. Choosing the correct product for the job seems to work for me.BTW: drill pilot hole for screws, and put wood wax on screws always. That applies to any small decretive box screws, regardless of the product. I have put in about 60 of these screws in very hard wood. Never broken a screw yet.
