So... this product doesn't work for the lga 1700 series? Reviewers are clearly not happy.

Worked fine with my 12600K. Maybe they had it installed backwards? There were no instructions, which would have been helpful, but I played with it until it fit. No problems so far and I've been gaming on it for just over a month now.
