Worth it if you have the patience to install
Update almost 4 years later and still looks good. Previous review comments: I installed this for Audi Q5 2010. So after watching the video here from the seller, and compiling it with another video from youtube, which was in Spanish with English subtitles. The easiest way to get this in is to install it in position, then put the curtain cover into the shield and ends after you lock the ends down into each channel. Yes, put the cover into a place, then put the assemble around it with the headliner down; it is not as hard as you think as there are only two screws for the assembly. This will make sense after you watch the videos, and just don't put in the shield(cover) before hands make this nearly impossible to install without two people. Anyways after I figured this out, I can now do this in two hours in the future. However, after only about two months, I am noticing the sunshade's sagging. Remember, a stretch material needs to be the correct material. In this case, I think it will last year at this rate and may have to replace again, but maybe it will not stretch anymore. So will look for a better product next go around if required. It will do in a pinch but not sure about durability.

Waste of time!
Installed assembly correctly, doubled check everything. When tested for the first time the assembly sprung, came out of track and ruined sunshade. So frustrating to do the work and have it fail. Do not recommend!

Tremendous value!
Dealer wanted over 2k to fix this sunshade. A few hours later and this shade worked like a new one! Thanks!!

Great product, be careful installing!
I’m really pleased with the product, well made and looks good. The trouble is in the install. The video is pretty good, but when it tells you to pull the spring out of the retainer, be very careful! It’s hard to pull out, and it will snap out and you will rip the cloth from the spring. It happened to me on both sides, but it wasn’t as bad the second time. If you watch the installation video, the guy rips it when he pulls it out too! I used some gorilla glue gel to glue it back to the spring, and installation was simple after that. I wish they just sent it to you without the clips already installed. Great product for the money, just be really careful taking the spring out, but you can repair with some glue if needed.

2012 Jetta Sportwagen w/ Pano sunroof. Challenging, but doable. Seems to work well
I installed this into my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen, and it seems to be a quality product and a good fit. I bought my car used with the sunroof shade material removed, so I was a bit surprised how mesh-like or open the shade material cloth was. I would have liked to to purchase a similar one that was beige on the inside, and reflective radiant material on the top, but whatever. Over all I am content with the product. I was attending to a leaky sunroof when I replaced this, so I had the entire headliner removed, which I suppose was helpful. I am a reasonably skillful non professional mechanic, and I was able to follow the provided instructions paired with information from forums and correctly install it all on my first try. I found the initial insertion of the brass "clock-work" spring into its channel to be quite harrowing, but ultimately it was not hard, just tricky, and I was able to to it all by myself. Good luck!

Complete and utter junk
Complete junk! Send you brand new broken items, spend $1500 and a day to install to find out the junk won’t roll back up because they didn’t assemble it correctly to begin with. Complete and utter Chinese crap garbage!!

It works... But be careful before installing bracket onto sunroof shade
Make sure to pull that metal clip you'll be attaching to the the plastic clip, before attaching to the clothe, or you tear the new shade cover trying to pull the metal bit out to slide into the guide rail. SUGGESTION MANUFACTURER: Give us the metal clip and the plastic clip separately and let us install as one when we are ready. Dont have us attach the clip to the shade cover, then try to remove the metal clip from the plastic bracket... It can cause damage, and is not easy to get out.

Watch the video they provide and read below
This product works great on my car. Watch the video they provided. You do not need to take it out of the black casing. Keep it in the casing, the most important step is to take the plastic clips from it and leave the silver clips attached to the copper strip. Slide the copper into the track and click the plastic clips into the metal tab. Put the black u shaped plastic pieces back in place and add screws. Best to have three people doing this. One holding the black casing and two people putting the copper strips in simultaneously. This part is 620 dollars from Audi and another about 2000 to install it, huge money savings!!!
