Kind of brittle and break easy.

These are really fragile. When they came one had broken in the mail. If it's on the floor and you step on it accidentally, even if you don't put your full weight on it, it shatters--not just breaks, but shatters into a bazillion tiny pieces that are a pain to clean up and would be easy to choke on. We have some other balls just like this that I paid more for and they don't shatter even under my full weight. It gets two stars because the cats do actually play with them, and you do get a lot for the money. I don't recommend these, though. This is an item you'd want to spend a little more on.

The item was as described and as expected. The only thing is the items came in an envelope instead of a box and could have easily been broken, Just a thought.

I bought these for making rattling baby toys, but yes, the cats have stolen some too. Fun for the whole family!

This package was awesome for the cat she had many balls to bounce against the walls and doors for her amusement!!

my 15 pound man-cat LOVES these! They have a real metal jingles in them too, not those dull sounding plastic ones. They provide hours of entertainment, tossing them down the stairs and retrieving them from 1am to 4am. Too bad they shatter into a million pieces when you step on them on your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Good thing they're inexpensive.
