Amazingly sharp

Sharp as a razor. Chops, slices and cuts with ease due to the weight of the knife and blade. Can get a really good grip and control the blade well. The downside is that it is a high carbon blade for keeping a sharp edge and NOT stainless steel. The knife cannot go in the dishwasher and has to be washed by hand and dried thoroughly to prevent rusting later.

This is a nice k ife set, but I am disappointed in the hollow handles. The pair of scissors it comes with are just like a cheap store brand though, nothing like the heavy metal scissor pair from this same company, that also has a nice metallic 'snip' sound when you close them. These are all metal though, just the handles are hollow. Not what I expected at all. Good value for the money.

I love using this knife! In fact I like it so much that I bought a second one to give to my adult son. It is well balanced and easy to use. I easily sharpen it fairly regularly on my knife sharpening block because I believe a sharp knife is a safer knife. It cuts large pieces of meat with ease. This is a beautiful addition to my cleaver collection. It has become one of my favorites.

Nice knife but I had to sharpen it. Very disappointed in how dull it came. I can shave with it now but haven't used it... not sure if the sharp edge I put on it will stay

Two thumbs up. I believe within a month it will be 1 1/2 thumbs up as half will probably be cut off. The knife is sharp sharp sharp. First try was on a cherry tomato. I believe I made 10 razor thin cuts. The description is advertised 318 g. Not true. Total weight is 253 g, still it’s a nice weight and fits well in the hand. The sheath is 3rd grade leather. All in all, I’m happy with my choice. Upon reading other reviews before purchase, I posted questioning why people are complaining the knife was dull upon delivery. I received two responses agreeing with me. Hence the tomato test. I was sceptical and was ready to return it if it didn’t perform. I’ll have to wait until it needs some sharpening. To me, it was worth the buy
