Review: You get what you pay for: excellent, but not cheap - This headlamp is absolutely superb on all levels. Granted, it is a bit bulky, and it's certainly not cheap. But the battery life is excellent. I have used it almost nightly to walk the dogs :) for the last 2 months now. Have it on for about 20 to 30 min each walk, mostly on low and medium, but intermittently on high and turbo. It just now went down one dot (out of 4) on the battery indicator. So, I am certain it would work well as a battery bank as well (which it's advertised for). The light strength and throw are also great. But what I like the most is the user-friendliness of its controls. Instead of having to cycle through all settings to reach the desired level, it has a turn switch that allows you to go up and down at will. This is true for both, the long throw settings and the flood settings. And with a push of the same switch, you can add either to either. Very cool and functional. So, five stars on everything. This isn't my first Fenix brand light, and it won't be my last one.

This headlamp is absolutely superb on all levels. Granted, it is a bit bulky, and it's certainly not cheap. But the battery life is excellent. I have used it almost nightly to walk the dogs :) for the last 2 months now. Have it on for about 20 to 30 min each walk, mostly on low and medium, but intermittently on high and turbo. It just now went down one dot (out of 4) on the battery indicator. So, I am certain it would work well as a battery bank as well (which it's advertised for).
