I recently completed my DIY shower enclosure. A large glass section needed more support to keep from wobbling. As this was my first attempt at this sort of a project I decided to wait until the basic install was complete to better understand my needs. Yes, ultimately the large glass section needed support. I shopped around but found this support bar for about a third of the price as one from a major brand. I have to say the installation went smoothly and the shower bar looks wonderful. I would highly recommend this product as it looks great and seems to be of high quality.

Installed on tile. Had to drill a hole in the tile with a tile bit. It works keeps a glass stable no issues.

I have a glass wall on one side of my shower. I did not want to have a door so the top of the glass was was free to move a bit. I always had the thought that I could fall and break down the glass wall so this support bar does a nice job of stabilizing it. Very satisfying to have it!

I did not screw this into the wall but use it as a brace, at times I do have to readjust but it's very easy to take down, clean around and re-adjust it afterwards. I have a glass panel that is about 12 inches that just does not stay tight so had to add this to keep it firm in place for the door to close against. No more frameless shower doors for me due to the poor instability of the frameless shower door but this thing saved me from ripping it all out prematurely.

Required this to finish our frameless walk-in shower. Needed to stabilize one section of glass attached to wall with a piece of u-channel. The chrome finish is exactly what I needed. It was very easy to install and included two stainless steel screws. PS. If your shower is porcelain or ceramic tile like mine was, you will need to bore two small holes for the screws using a diamond bit but I've done plenty of these in the past so was a cinch :)
