    What we needed to pass inspection

We had our basemewnt finished and needed ladders in the window wells per code to pass inspection.  We have EXTRA DEEP WINDOW WELLS so couldn't find any ladders instock in the local hardware stores that were long enough.  These were perfect.

The critical question is: "Did it make the City inspector go away?"  Yes, he was happy.  He left me in peace and issued my rental license.I'm pretty sure a person could use it in a fire, and I'm pretty sure nobody would ever need to, even if a fire breaks out.  But the fact a thing is useless doesn't mean it isn't required.I suppose once or twice a year, I'll use it to retrieve some kid's football or my newspaper, if either of them makes a bad throw.
