How do you remove the clippings from the clipper? Does the unit come apart?

you can just shake the clipper forward and the clippings will fall out. Also the clippers do pull out of the plastic casing. It takes a little force at the beginning.

What is the blade width compared to the G- 1008?

I have no idea but while this blade is great, it’s a little too big for finger nails. It’d be ideal if it was a little smaller

Sharp & Easy to Use

This nail clipper gets the job done. It is rather large, a bit clunky looking and weighty but it is extremely sharp and makes timing finger and toe nails quick work, even thick nails are not a problem for these nail clippers. I highly recommend them, esp helpful if you have vision issues or arthritis in your hands. I was trying to purchase another clipper made by this company that was unavailable, bought these instead and love them. One of the best small quality of life purchases I've ever made, well worth the price.
