Very nice!
High quality, easy to use and nice to look at. This is an excellent knife, no matter the price point. Like any tool, it will last longer if you take care of it properly. This is my 3rd knife from Fanteck and I am not dissatisfied with any of them in any way. I donโt get the impression that they will tolerate abuse very well but they are well made and I am confident that I will be using them for a very long time.

Great blade, okay handle
This knife is super-sharp out of the box and is a classic-shaped boning knife. The layered Damascus steel is more a cosmetic plus than a usability factor, and the handle with several segments, while attractive, could use a little more refinement in assembly. Mine has slightly different thicknesses between the segments so it feels a little rough in your hand. That aside, trimming and slicing is a breeze and itโs inexpensive for Japanese steel. May require more careful sharpening because of the layers.

Fake Damascus it's etched
It's a nice looking knife but don't be fooled it's doesn't appear to real Damascus steel it's definitely etched. And it's not sharp very rough edge and dull I will sharpen it to see how it holds an edge for 30 35 bucks I thought it was to good to be true. I will update to see how it performs. Unfortunately I order 2 more and they are on the way looks like I'll be sending these back

Goof knife but handle is too heavy
Blade is sharp and good. The handle is too heavy though making for an unbalanced feel.

Beware
This knife sliced up my hands. I cannot even wash it without gashing them and blood gushing out. I do not recommend at all unless you want stitches. Just looking at it will tactically chop your hand off.

Amazing value
They donโt charge enough for this knife. Makes deboning easy and even works well for filleting fish. It is also beautiful, excellent craftsmanship.

Fantastically sharp
Fantastically sharp as a straight-edge shaver, and it holds it's edge far longer than all my other knives! Recommend only sharpening with a leather strap system.
