The flavor is unique and my go to for eggs, soup, meats. I mix it with ketchup for french fries. It has just the right amount of spiciness for a slight kick. The heat it low to moderate.

Tabasco peppers are the best tasting peppers out there for hot sauce! Mix this with just a tad of Tabasco Scorpion Pepper hot sauce and you get the flavor with a kick! Love it! And the price for the giant bottle is quite economical!

Well, i guess i am just not that smart. I made chili and came up short on tabasco sauce. I found a bottle in the back of a cabinet that had turned brown... No-one died from the chili so... WIN! But still, i figured i dodged a bullet and so i had better buy more. Well, i kept going to the store and kept forgetting to get it, so i ordered it from Amazon. I was quite surprised when i received it and it was an industrial sized bottle. Well, maybe not industrial sized, but certainly more than i think i will use in my life unless i go crazy making a lot of chili. I’m pretty sure this will also turn brown before i use half of it. But hey... Now i have more than enough tabasco sauce for every occasion! Oh yea, and it is pretty much exactly the flavor i expected. The recipe has not changes in the years since i last bought tabasco sauce.

This stuff is NOT for wimps! If you like to add a little hot kick to your food then this is the stuff you need. I use it on ham, steaks, chili and even add a couple drops to a glass of V8 juice. It makes it taste just like a Snap E Tom. This stuff has been around longer than I have and l love it!

I went on a taste testing kick recently of Louisiana style hot sauces that contain nothing but chiles, salt, and vinegar, and I have to say, I was a little surprised that Tabasco stands head and shoulders above the other brands, and that is because all the other brands use Cayenne peppers, which are a Capisum annuum cultivar, while Tabasco uses Tabasco peppers, a Capsicum frutescens cultivar. Tabasco peppers are just much fruitier tasting, and so they are my definite preference, because they just taste better, to me. Tabasco Sauce also has a lot less salt than other brands, which is immediately noticeable when you taste them back to back. Other brands taste overly salty, by comparison.

Great flavor, not many ingredients! Spicy and a bit salty.
