The noise cancelling element is quite decent and noticeable (some background noise can be heard if nothing is playing but it is minor), it blocks out the majority of Emmerdale so I am happy. I feel the sound aspect is lacking in depth, there is bass enhancement which is good but with more complex songs I think some sounds get lost in the mix a little but overall these are a decent set of headphones for a decent price. If you are a sound purist then you will probably have to fork out for a more expensive set. I did need to charge the headphones to start with which was expected but I have only had them a week so I can't fully review battery life. I'm used to them now so find it easy. **Q: when on long haul flights can they be used with the onboard entertainment supplied. by bluetooth or cable.** A: They should work ok if the plane offers Bluetooth, but some planes have a strange double connection for headphones in the hopes you will have to purchase their own rubbish headphones. If they have a standard connection, then these will work great. **Q: Does the manufacturer provide ongoing support? I.e battery replacement, ear cups, headbands?** A: I don’t know. The sound quality is also reasonable for the price. Good connectivity and fit - comfortable. Problem arose at around 9 month point, when the headphones, although fully charged, simply won’t switch on. The noise cancelling light comes on , though this switch is located on the opposite side of the headphones. A bit disappointing ,as they were a useful basic piece of kit. I wouldn’t buy again due to this. UPDATE January 2026 !!
