How big is the banana? I want to gift this, but in a different container.

The banana is made of fabric, so it folds if you take the tiles out and it moves, bends, and scrunches if you leave the tiles in, so the dimensions can vary to some extent to allow you to stuff the whole banana, with the tiles inside, into other sized containers if that's your goal, or if you want to put just the tiles in a separate container without the banana, they should all fit in a quart-size zip lock baggie (and, in fact, the tiles come in a separate plastic zip lock baggie labeled "BIG" ). I took out a ruler and measured the banana with tiles inside: The longest part at the top of the banana (counting just the yellow part where the zipper runs from one end to the other, and not counting the little brown fabric hangtag at one end which you could fold in if needed) is 9.75 inches long. The height from top to bottom is anywhere from 2 to 3.25 inches tall when filled with the plastic tiles, depending on whether you press it flat or whether you instead squeeze the sides in.  The width at the widest point in the center is anywhere from 1.5 to 4 inches wide with the tiles inside, depending on how flat you press it down/how much you squeeze the sides in.  There is also a directions sheet which should fit in the ziplock baggie if folded, or it can be placed flat or folded in your other container.  It is 12 inches  tall and 6.5 inches wide when opened up full size, but it arrives folded already so you wouldn't be hurting it to fold it.
