This was definitly a great choice to buy.
This product does exactly what it's made for. Keeping your foot dry. I constantly have foot dressings from ulcers, and needed something to keep the dressing from getting wet. We were taping grocery bags around my foot before this, when my partner, who is a CNA, found this product on Amazon, so I ordered it. When the product tore about 8 months later because of constant use, even though it was out of its 90 day warranty, they happily replaced it after telling them what my situation was. And now I had to buy another because I just had a toe amputated on the opposite foot. Now I'm using their products on each foot. And the second one I bought was $5 less than the first one. So glad to see that sometimes prices go down instead of up. Trust me, it is worth the money!Just one note before I wrap up... be careful NOT to step on the bottom plastic with the opposite foot. I did this once unknowingly, and it stretched the top piece away from my leg, allowing water to seep in. I thought the product had a rip in it already, but couldn't find it. So, just in case it WAS my fault, I used it again and it worked. That's when I knew what I did. I highly recommend this product.

It really works I swear to god lol
Definitely recommend!!! I broke my toe back on Easter and ended up needing surgery and a temporary pin put in my toe for 6 weeks that came out of the top of my toe. (if anyone is curious what that looks like google k wire broken toe) Anyways I couldn’t get my foot wet at all for the first 3 weeks after surgery and then for the last 3 weeks I could only get my foot wet in the shower I couldn’t submerge it in water. I had a vacation coming up to Mexico that I thought was going to be ruined BUT I found this little baby and I was so nervous at first but I tried it out on my good foot first and it kept my foot completely dry in the shower and in the pool. So for 6 weeks this foot condom was my absolute best friend. Took it to Mexico and was able to enjoy the water with everyone and had a great time. DONT TRY TO SHOVE YOUR BOOT IN IT. IT WILL NOT FIT you can only fit your foot by itself in it.

Great For a Pool; Not So Much a Tub
This works perfectly standing in a shower, or I assume floating in a pool. However, in a bath tub, the pressure of the ring resting on the bottom of the tub breaks the seal a little bit - just enough for a few drops. Easy fix: roll up a bathmat or a towel and shove it under your shin.Still, first bubble bath in 2 weeks and I'm very happy and my wound is dry.

It's the best, look no further!
My husband tore 2 tendons in his foot and could not get it wet for 2 months. After watching him go through the trash bag & duct tape routine every night before showering, I thought there has to be something better. After about 30 minutes online I was getting discouraged. All of the reviews on different products said that some water would seep in or even pour in and get their foot wet. I finally came across the "Waterproof Cast Cover for Showering". It had 100% reviews. I was still skeptical but decided to order it. Let me tell you, NOT ONE DROP OF WATER IN 6 WEEKS got into this cast cover! My husband could not believe it. And if that wasn't enough, it only took him 3 seconds at the most to put it on and to take it off. We can't say enough about this cover. It's the best!!

Works the way it should
I had bunion correction surgery and wasn't allowed to get the post-surgical dressing on my foot wet for two weeks. This cover allowed me to use the shower and emerge with a dry foot. Worked perfectly. And as it only covers the foot and not the whole lower leg, I could wash the rest of my leg. You have to be careful inserting your foot into the smallish hole at the top; you gotta really stretch that plastic to accommodate the foot and dressing. But the tight seal is why it works.

Awesome Product
Recently had a weil osteotomy and needed a protective boot to shower. I'm a size 10.5 (US, male) and getting this on and off is a breeze for my particular surgery. Have used many times over past few weeks and it is 100% watertight.I just hang it in the shower to let the outside dry after. Also, as one user pointed out, the top around the blue rim naturally collects a little bit of water, so be sure to either drain off by tipping the top a bit or use a towel to towel try before slipping off over your foot (so as not to get your dressing/wounds wet).Bonus: I have used this multiple times in the bath, and your foot just floats since it's basically in an air bubble. Even better than showering.

Very effective, but so loud!
As I was standing in the shower listening to the water pounding on my foot, I was considering just how loud this foot cover is. I had no idea the water landing on it would so loud! However, it works great. Even though you can feel the water hitting your foot, it stays on the outside of the cover. My size 10.5 foot goes in easily, and I think it would also work for larger feet. It is grippy on the bottom, so I feel secure walking in it. Overall, an excellent choice!

IT WORKS
After being diagnosed with an open wound infection on my foot that could not get wet, I was desperate. I could not shower. I have other health issues and was afraid of using a plastic bag, which would be slippery, maybe causing a fall in the shower. After not having a shower for 6 days, I discovered the Waterproof Foot Cast Protector. It was very easy to put on my foot and it was not slippery at all, even when wet. I had a very long shower and there was absolutely no moisture at all inside the cover. Even wet, stepping onto a tile floor, it was not slippery. Very good product and I would recommend this product or the leg and/or arm protectors highly.
