Comfortable cushion and stays in place.

Super comfortable and helped alot on thos long paddles

I have not tested this on the water yet so we’ll see how it holds up. A bit concerned it may soak up water, but the cover has great traction. Much better than I expected. It’s lightweight and a good thickness. I plan to use on my stand-up paddleboard. The one con I see (other than potential water absorption, if applicable) is that it doesn’t have a strap to secure a wrap around a kayak or SUP seat. Instead of the small loop it has it would’ve been nice to see that. You don’t really need it with a kayak necessarily, but if they wanted to make it usable for an SUP it would’ve been very helpful. This way it’s possible I will lose it at some point to the water and or it will slip out of place and be more difficult to move back with the seat when I ship to a standing position.

First off, apologies for the upside down picture. The seat is thick, both sides are non slip and it lays on top of my factory seat just perfect. I attached some paracord and a carbiner incase I flip the kayak and it tries to float away. So far so good, happy with my purchase! I hope it lasts a long time.

These are a great product with the right density and size. One side is slip resistant so helps to keep it in place while paddling my kayak through the lake. Definitely a worthwhile investment and looks to be well made.

This is a really well-made cushion that is just padded enough for active paddling in a kayak. I have a small, simple sit-on-top kayak with a seat molded into the bottom of the kayak. This cushion fits perfectly, has a little 3" loop that easily engages with the seat back adjustment strap, so it won’t get lost if the kayak stops over, and has wavy black ribs of some sort of silicone paint that make it grip the bottom of the boat and your own bottom, so that no shifting occurs. Sometimes I fold it in half and stick it behind my lower back so that i can reach the foot holds of the kayak a little better. It holds well then, too. The padding will not flatten out like foam. It’s a gel-based padding, so it might seem too thin, but it’s not. It keeps your butt bones from grinding into the bottom of the hard seat surface much the way a gel saddle works on a bicycle. Really what any kayaker could want. It could easily work in a canoe, too, or a rowboat, fishing boat, etc. You could even use it as a bleacher pad at sporting events. Great product!

Fine. Not as cushy as expected

Used it to support my back rest as it was coming loose and works very well. Stays in place and doesn’t irritate bare skin.

Got it for my Pelican 12 foot recreational kayak as I was starting to feel the effects of the thin seat padding. Gave me just enough padding to make the long trips more comfortable and does not slip. Would recommend this product.

I'm a keen kayaker but have had issues with a painful backside on longer kayaking trips. Yesterday I covered 30km on the south coast using this cushion for the first time. It was amazing! The support and protection it gave me exceeded my expectations. It didn't slip and there was no discomfort despite the number of hours I spent on the sea.
