Not a fan of the fragrance. Not really sure it’s helping my hair. Does get warm when it hits my wet hair tips. I would not say that my hair shines like “ glass” or shine at all.

Thid is the best product I have used to get my hair shiny without it feeling or looking greasy! I use about half of the recommended product (measure lines on the side of bottle ) otherwise it can look/feel greasy so you might have to play around with how much you use. 100% frizz control. Note if I use this I do not use conditioner.

I bumped into this while searching for some kind of gloss for my hair. Decided to give it a try after seeing the reviews. I fell in love with this product immediately the first time I used it in the shower. I have very long hair, I applied it at the ends first. It immediately felt warm to the touch and immediately I could feel that my hair textured had turned very soft! I went on to apply it up to about 2 inches of my scalp, then massage it into my hair as directed, followed by rinsing out. My hair felt and look amazing afterward—sleek and shiny. I also liked the very fruity but fresh smell. However, it was downhill from there. The 2nd time I used it, the effect was not quite the same as the first time. I could immediately feel the hair texture was not as smooth as the first time. I ended up using quite a bit to try to recapture the same effect as the first use. It just didn’t turn out quite the same, and my hair felt drier after it was dry. The 3rd time I use it, I used clarifying shampoo first. I thought it might have been some built-up to cause the product not to work as great, and nope, it didn’t get better, it was actually worse. It still turned warm when applied, but my hair didn’t feel any softer. The worst was that my hair felt very dry after it was dried. I’ve used it three times, and I have about 1/3 of the bottle left—two more uses max. My conclusion is that it was fun to try it, but won’t buy it again since it gives no benefits to my hair.

I’ve tried so many different expensive products trying to keep my bleached platinum blonde to stay moisturized, healthy & shiny. This level of chemical treatment to your hair can make it easily breakable, dry, & dull but this product fixes all of that. I’ve tried many far more expensive products between bleaching & conditioning processes; glosses, deep conditioning repair masks & more! These are steps I’ve found to work best for my hair; 1.I condition my hair & then apply this product to my hair. It feels quite warm at first but I continue to massage through my hair till it’s thoroughly covered, soft & can easily run my fingers through without tangles. 2.Then I rinse partially with lukewarm water, stopping while it still remains soft but not oily. 3.Then towel dry & blow dry my hair while having to use very little other product to protect it from heat of blow dryer or curling iron. It always styles smooth, shiny, & holding beautiful loose curls for days if I choose to use a curling iron in addition to blow drying. I rarely leave reviews but just had to because this is such a great product at a great price! Now I can’t imagine being without Garnier Fructis hair glass water! I have it on subscription so I will never run out & also get a reduced price! It’s a must have for every hair type but especially if you have processed hair!

Detangles and makes hair shiny. Little goes a long way. Use after shampooing. Massage and then use conditioner Hard to find in stores. Will continue to purchase!

I have fine hair but a lot of it, wavy and it tends toward frizz. I thought this product sounded like it was made for me. I was very wrong! First, it was difficult to apply. It has the consistency of water, and is hard to make sure it gets all through your hair without using too much. Second, get ready for that super strong Garnier perfume. This irritates me because I like to wear my own perfume and not smell like Garnier fruit cocktail for days. I realize this may be a plus for some, but it's not for me and I tend to shy away from Garnier products as a result. Finally, it didn't have a noticeable conditioning or de-frizzing effect, but somehow it also managed to weigh my hair down and make it greasy. I normally can go 3-4 days between washes, but by day two my hair felt gross. I'm upset I paid so much for it but I just can't use it again, given the results the first time around. Beware: in case you didn't check, this product is not returnable. Too bad --- sometimes Garnier products are hidden gems. Just not this one, at least not for me.

A gorgeous slip and sleekness without heaviness , Id give it 5 but the scent isnt the best but worth it for the results and price point

Avant d'utiliser ce produit, mes cheveux étaient extrêmement secs à cause des décolorations. Malgré l'utilisation de divers masques, je n'arrivais pas à réparer les dégâts. Lorsque j'ai acheté ce produit, je ne m'attendais pas à un changement aussi significatif, mais après un mois d'utilisation, la différence est flagrante. Mes cheveux sont plus soyeux ,plus brillants et moins abîmés, et j'ai besoin d'une petite quantité de produit. De plus, il n'a provoqué aucune réaction allergique.

Love this product and the price was lower than similar ones on the market but I can’t stand the scent. It smells like pineapple candy and it’s just not my taste. Works great and adds shine, reduces frizz so if you like pineapple candy small maybe give this a try.

I used to use this lamellar water all the time for my dry and damaged hair. I thought it was just great. Then I used another drug store brand (brand name starts with 'L'), and that wonderful stuff foams, gets into every nook and cranny of the hair, and makes it silky. In comparison, this will do in a pinch if you're out of the other. It doesn't foam, it doesn't get into every nook and cranny of your damaged hair. It doesn't distribute as well, and when you compare it to the other drug store brand, your hair feels a bit rougher. That used to be acceptable when it was only $5.99 a bottle (middle of 2025). But then the price shot up to nearly $20 a bottle, which is ridiculous for a product that doesn't perform as well as it's main competitor that costs 35% less. I don't know what they think they've got here, but it's not all that.

This hair product is amazing. Leaves your hair glossy and soft.
