If you use colored tealights can you tell the difference

About this tealight candleholder, it includes 3 colors, black and white with the transparency glass you can find the different if you use colored tealights.

Does anyone know if a 3” pillar candle will fit?

I returned these because the little door is too small for an led candle to go through. So it's the width of the candle that might not go in. I ended up getting another lantern that opens two of its sides allowing me to put really big candles.

Can the chain be adjusted so it’s longer?

No. You could easily add length with wire or fixing a chain length to it — but lengthen beyond the given 12 - 14 inches, no.

I bought 2 a gift for my son. He plans to put them outside by the pool. So I’m assuming they are made to use outdoors in weather/rain
