100% Irish Merino Wool Aran Button Men's Sweater by Westend Knitwear

I like everything about this sweater except the collar. One expects a shawl collar to have some substance to it. This one does not. It is small and floppy. Not good words for anything, but especially not a shawl collar. I am a woman, 5'8"/130 lbs. and I wanted an oversized shawl collar cardigan that would keep make comfy whilst economizing on heating oil. It does that but not as well as it would if it had a nice thick "turny-uppy" collar.

I am 5'11", 140 lbs. and wear a 14 1/2 -- 32/33 dress shirt. The small size sweater fits perfectly, with good length in the body and sleeves. Although I chill easily, this sweater keeps me warm. As mentioned in other reviews, the buttonholes are a little tight, but it's not a grievous issue. The sweater ships from Ireland and arrived just east of the Continental Divide seven (!) calendar days after ordering.

I ordered this after years of hunting for an oversized "grandpa" sweater and it's perfect (am female, 5'7 - ordered a small). The only complaint I have is it's quite itchy at first - but I'm sure it will soften over time... Extremely happy!

The sweater was beautiful soft and very comfortable but the small was too small. Maybe you should add on sizing chart if man is 6ft should order medium or large true to size.

Excellent quality! I ordered the Oatmeal color, which also has specks of navy and a caramel color (its very pretty). I ordered a size small after reading some reviews about the small size being larger than anticipated and I'm so glad I did! Its the perfect loose/relaxed fit I was looking for, and a bit cheaper than some of the similar ladies styles I was eyeballing online. For reference, I am a 5'9 woman, weight 145 lbs, 36D. Buy this sweater!

I'm a 5'8" 130lb woman who was looking for an oversized cardigan. This is a beautiful sweater. The knit is a little on the looser side, so the sweater is warm and cozy, but not too hot. This sweater goes down past my hips, and just covers my butt. The sleeves are really wide (great for layering) and it has pockets. It's perfect for just being cozy around the house. This is a much better option than any "boyfriend" style cardigans made for women.My husband also tried this on. He's 5'10" and 190lbs and it just fit him (over a t-shirt). Any guys bigger than that should go up one size.

I love my new sweater so much that I had to buy other color once it was in stock ! It is perfect for the business casual look that my workplace requires, while at the same time providing just the right amount of protection from the elements. I normally am very warm blooded, but my workplace is a very large showroom that is difficult to heat. This sweater is not so light that you feel the cool, but also not so heavy that you burn up. If you want a beautiful, comfortable cardigan sweater, look no further, you have found it.

Exactly what I was looking for. This sweater is very comfortable and very well made.

It's on the large side. My husband usually takes a medium but this is generous even in small size. The first one had to be sent back because it had a faulty seam in one sleeve but the replacement is fine. I've added a transparent 'backing button' to support the lowest button because it was attached to only one stitch and was being pulled out forwards, but now it is OK. It's cozy and comfortable.

I love this sweater from the first glance. Then I realised how comfortable it is. Soft, warm and stylish. It is good for casual situation or as formal wear.
