Best Litter Ever
I haven't had a cat in years and I was really not looking forward to having cat litter in the house again. It's dusty, smelly, tracks everywhere... or that is what I thought before I found this litter. I had tried a few before I found this. It isn't dusty, I never find it on my carpet or outside the bathroom and dare I say it smells good. It clumps so nicely. The only bummer is I live in California so I can't flush it but we aren't supposed to flush any litter so I can't really count that as a downside. Will be buying this as long as I have a cat!

THIS. You NEED to buy THIS. Srsly lol
I ditched conventional cat litter for the stuff and have no regrets. The cat's hardly track this stuff at all in my apartment. That's the whole reason why I got it. I've tried every type of cat litter arranging from crystals to various clumping clay types to corn-based litter like " The world's best litter". What makes tofu clumping cat litter the best is the fact that it's much longer traditional cat litter sand. It's much harder for cats to get this stuff stuck in their paws. Does it still happen? Yes, but not nearly as much as anything else out there. I've been looking for a product like this for the past 6 years lol. I think one of the biggest tips past tofu clumping cat litter is also having a carpet extended 30 to 36 in beyond the litter box and also having a litter box that they have to jump in and out of. If anything is stuck on their little cat hands, it immediately falls off on the carpet when they land, which is hardly anything. And other benefit of this cat litter is that dust is at a minimal. And one final cool thing.... It smells like cake batter for some other reason like others have said. It doesn't stink. The only thing that I don't like about this stuff is is that it's expensive. Ultimately though, it clumps very well, absorbs very well, smells good, and doesn't track like anything else that I've ever used with my 3 cats. I don't think that I will be changing back to Clay or corn based cat litter anytime soon. Oh, and one more tip.... Don't expect your cat to immediately use tofu cat litter if it's only that in the cat box. You need to start mixing it in with your existing cat litter for weeks so they get used to it. My 3 cats refused to use the tofu stuff, even if their clay was FULL of poo. I started mixing it in with their clay so they had no choice but to use it. I started off with one bag, and now they're clay is about 80% gone as the pics show. Btw, you're welcome.

This is the best tofu cat litter on the market so far!!
First of all, huge thanks to Teddybob for extending their business from Canada to the US market on amazon. This is really a life saver for me!!! One of my furry babies once almost choked himself with clay litter so I started to search for safer litter option for them and pidan is so far the best performing tofu cat litter I can find in the market in US. Pros and highlights: 1) Very fast absorbing and the clumps are not mushy like the other tofu litter. 2) The litter does a great job on odor control! I tried Frisco and Junai. Both of them did a horrible job on this. Pidan can last through the whole month and you can still smell no odors at all. 3) No dust at all when pouring out or during the time of usage. A lot of other cat litter claim themselves to be dust free while you can almost choke yourself to death from the smoke while pouring the litter... vivipet used to do a great job on this but then now their charcoal cat litter is full of dust.. 4) The pallets are prolly the thinnest I have seen comparing with all the other tofu cat litter on the market. It is the most gentle on my kitties' paws. 5) Low tracking and you will never face the issue of the litter sticking onto your kitties' paws. Cons: Basically none. The only one might be that the litter has a milk/vanilla smell so not completely non-scent. But this kinda comes from the tofu itself, rather than any additives. So I gave it a pass on this. But for those who really mind, this might be an issue. Overall, highly recommend this to anyone looking for tofu cat litter. I know this sounds crazy but the price is actually very affordable given its quality! Trust me. I used to have to keep searching of retailers for importing this cat litter and it can cost up to over $100 per 4 packs. Sincerely hope Teddybob will keep supporting the US market!

Finally a litter with 0 compromises
After having my cat for 5 years now and trying dozens of different litter types and brands from crystal to clay to corn to walnut, I've finally found something that just WORKS! I've seen zero dust out of the 4 bags I've used, so no more worrying about what we're breathing in. It clumps perfectly, has a very light scent that isn't too strong, traps odors well, has barely any tracking, and the little tracking there is, is mainly due to my cat's toe feathers more than anything. For my jumbo litterbox, 2 bags just barely fit, but I'm planning to switch to a slightly smaller stainless steel one. I'm grateful to have finally found a litter and brand that just works with no caveats.

Great litter except the scent
This has all the good things I would want in a cat litter: low dust, blood detection, clumps well, minimal tracking. Sold! Yes, it's a bit pricey but not more so than other high end litters, especially if you get the 4-pack on subscribe and save. Definitely worth it when you don't want your apartment to smell like a typical cat box. I knocked off a star because scented litters can be a real problem for cats. It has a strong vanilla scent that humans will like, but cats won't. I'm lucky that my cats tolerate it, but I also cut the scent a bit by mixing with an unscented clumping wood litter. It would be way too strong if I didn't do that. Also I use a Modkat box configured for a side entry and I leave the top off, which also keeps the scent from getting too concentrated. I've had no opportunity to test the blood detection, but if it actually works, that's great peace of mind. Both my cats have chronic crystal problems and one needed emergency surgery to remove bladder stones. My vet had recommended another litter that's supposed to change color depending on urine PH, but I found this was unreliable and also the litter has been very dusty. This is a much more sensible option - again, IF it works. Finally - being dependent for litter on Amazon deliveries is not a great situation. I wish my local pet store could carry this. So yet another reason to mix it with another litter I can get locally, in case of supply disruptions. Oh and this is pretty long-lasting. I need the equivalent of 2 bags to fill my big-cat litter box, but I'm only now needing to change the litter and clean the box after ~4 months, and the refill rate is about 1 bag/month for my 2 big Siberian cats. So at current prices, this costs about $15/month, which is not hard to live with and less pricey than what I was using before.

Best ever. No smell. Easy clean up.
I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve tried just about every cat litter on the market, and most were unbearable — except this one. It has a light vanilla scent, clumps tightly, and can be flushed, which makes cleanup so much easier. Any small bits that get tracked are simple to sweep up. For years I avoided having cats because of the smell of litter boxes. But after rescuing several kittens over the last five years, I’ve switched exclusively to this litter. I suspect many people complaining about odor simply aren’t scooping daily. With this litter, it’s so much easier — scoop, flush, and done. No more wasting endless bags or hauling smelly clumps to the trash. The other litters are unbearable , the smell and the debris EVERYWHERE. I even trained one kitten to use the toilet with this litter and the Cat Throne system. Yes, it’s pricier than standard litter, but worth it for a home that doesn’t reek. For anyone worried about tools — the claim that there isn’t a good scooper on Amazon isn’t true. I bought a sturdy metal one here that sifts perfectly and leaves just the solid clumps for the toilet. My other tip: invest in a stainless steel litter box. It doesn’t trap odors the way plastic does. Cats may be naturally smellier than other pets, but with this litter and a steel box, the problem is solved.

Amazing stuff. No smell. No tracking. Clumps tighter than any other brand.
We started using this litter after our cat had a life threatening obstruction and I needed to find something that was fragrance-free and dye-free. I also like that it has crystals that can detect blood since that was an issue for our kitty. I previously used Fresh Step with my cats for the last 20+ years. At first, I thought this tofu litter was more expensive. But it turns out that it clumps cleaner and doesn't disintegrate into a million tiny clumps when you scoop it. This means that the litter remaining in the box stays clean. All you have to do is top it off after you scoop. The #1 scoops come out really well stuck-together. The #2 dries up completely and the smell is trapped. The best part about this litter is that it doesn't track like regular cat litter. The old brand stuck to kitty paws and you would find it all over the house. This tofu litter does not track at all. I use a litter trapping mat under the litter box so they step out onto it. The only tracking is right outside the box and the mat catches everything before it goes all over the house. It took a few weeks to get used to how it looks (sort of like rice/noodles). My cats refused it at first, but i added this to their normal litter a scoop at a time until they were completely switched over. I think they actually like it better too. No more cat box smell. No more irritation to my kitty because of heavy perfumes. This is really good stuff.

Better than any other
So far best litter I’ve used after 2 decades. I have an older male cat that urinates frequently and with both Clay and corn litter it was hard to scoop because it wasn’t a solid clump. And we try to use fragrance free more natural litters like a popular corn based one but the odor control is little to none. We also prefer flushable litter. Both the corn and a flushable Clay sometimes didn’t dissolve as quickly and stuck to toilet. This litter flushes the easiest with no residue on the toilet and I can’t even smell the pee while I’m scooping. It’s so absorbent and I’m able to scoop and have it be in one clump and it doesn’t crumble into the clean litter. To me it smells like natural coconut and vanilla which I like. Wish I would have switched to this sooner.

A great litter that contains smells and reassures owners.
Absolutely brilliant litter. It actually smells nice, almost like vanilla, and does a really good job of disguising any scents from the urine or stool of the cats. It clumps well with urine and is easy to scoop, with minimal dust. It has not changed colour to blue so I am assuming my cats have no blood in their urine which is reassuring. My cats used it immediately with no hesitation. They did find it easy to kick out the litter from a basic rimmed litter tray (as you can see in the picture) but I've since rectified this by adding a matt underneath the litter tray and will be switching to an enclosed litter tray. My only comment is that it takes one bag to fill a standard sized litter tray, so this could work out an expensive option to use long term. It was half price when I purchased it though which made it seem good value for money.

Great clumping = less waste, has everything I was looking for in litter.
I've been using this for a few months now and it's the best litter I've used. When I switched from compostable paper litter I was looking for a litter that was clumping but flushable and that reduced odor without having a strong perfume and this is the one. It has a very light coconut/vanilla scent that's really only detectable when you fill a fresh tray. Some other tofu litters were strongly scented and my cat was allergic to those. This one is not 100% unscented, but lightly scented at least. The litter clumps so well that it doesn't waste a lot of litter, it wets as little as possible and clumps solid so it's easy to scoop. Since it uses so little it only needs a bit of a top up between the full sanitising I do bi-monthly or so. It does get stuck between their toes and they of course flick it everywhere when they try to get it out, but doesn't almost every litter? That's the one negative I have and it's a general cat litter issue, not a Pidan litter issue. I don't see myself switching litter any time soon.
