Works like a champ
I use these for car audio speaker wire from 12 - 18 AWG with ease. I used to cut 8 AWG and was a choir. I now use the Craftsman compound linesman pliers. These are great for the smaller wires and zip ties. The mouth open up nicely for cutting thick speaker wires with plastic shielding in one cut. Very durable like all my Craftsman tools for the price and warranty you cant go wrong
