16 Gauge 5/16 Tiny Opal Flower Stainless Steel Labret Cartilage Helix Tragus Earrings Piercing

Nahh.... I realized that the pinkish opal color is really not flattering on my skin. I gotta stick with neutral or silver or black. Bolder colors can work. I don't think this is a terrible item. It seems to be made fairly well, and not cheaply. The manmade gem is bezel-set in the piece. Which means, the opal will probably stay in there for a long time. This is preferable over cheaper prongs holding the gem in place. Over time, if the design is cheap, it can come apart and the gem can come loose. This pink color is very pretty, but the opal is very tiny, so it's not really obvious that it's an opal.I tried this on my lip, my Monroe, and it was a little struggle... but I finally got it in. The problem was, the metal flat circle inside the mouth, was way too sharp. It dug into my inner skin. It didn't feel good at all. Also, the bar is veeeery short. Shorter than I had thought. I realized I had to remove it after about a day or two, but before I got to, it actually unscrewed by itself and fell out, with the long bar falling into my mouth. I wasn't even chewing anything or moving much. And I am always paranoid about that, so I screw those in really tight. I don't know what happened.Either way, I won't be purchasing this again. I have another one in my lip now, and the inside metal thing is very comfortable, with gently rounded edges. Problem is, this one is about twice the length of the 5/16" opal one. It's definitely a bit too long. But it is a relief after this opal piece I purchased.This isn't a terrible piece of jewelry, but the size I got was too small to use. It fit in my lip, but barely, so it hurt. And the round inside metal part is NOT to my liking, especially digging in to my inside lip. It isn't nice and rounded like plenty of others are. It's sharper than that.Some may like this ok. So. Don't let me stop you, just giving my personal experience. I'm a petite woman, without huge lips. So. Just sayin......but if you care about the inside of your lip, you may not totally love it.Good luck.

I purchased this for my tragus piercing. It is a little long and the stone for me is a little large. It is really beautiful and I think it would look perfect on someone with darker skin tone. My skin is really light with a pink undertone, so this looked a little like aa blemish or something against my skin. The reason for the 4 stars is because of that and I really do think it would look perfect on someone with darker skin. It is really pretty.

Would give it 5 if the opal didn't unscrew all the time! This is the perfect size for my medusa piercing. It fits perfectly snug right on my lip! It's absolutely beautiful, too. Not sure what these people are talking about when they say it looks cheap! I purchased a very expensive name brand opal but it was nowhere near as beautiful as this! So comfortable!

I ordered the lapis blue color and it looked exactly as pictured. Although it was smaller than I thought and it took a while to get here. It was also difficult to get it in to my tragus piercing. When I finally did, I had it in for less than a day and the gem had already unscrewed itself and fell out.

Initially, it was beautiful! After a few months of daily wear, a blue stone fell out and the ring has tarnished terribly. Soon as I can get this thing out (I have big fingers), I'm definitely changing it.

I really like the jewel part, however, the post leaves much to be desired. The round metal backing, of the post, is so thin it started to cut into my lip, the first day I wore them.

The earring is longer than I thought it would be. It was a pain to put in because of size. The stone is really pretty and shipping wasn't too, awfully bad. All in all, I would order the same thing only shorter.

It a beautiful Blue monro but it turns my lip green saddly :(
