I used it on a bmx bike, which had a slightly larger diameter seat post tube than my seat post. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well engineered accessory. *by S***I on 16 September 2025* Well engineered, sorted out my seat slippage problem as it replaced a plastic sleeve which was totally useless. Important to check frame diameter with vernier calipers and likewise with the seat post to be sure to order the correct size, internal and external. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works, to the... whatever is smaller than a millimeter! 😂 *by M***P on 4 June 2025* A very, very tight fit. That is probably the fault of the other product - a manual, suspension dropper post. However, with some lithium grease on the shim and post, this has marvelously facilitated installation. Thank you Amazon and Platt. 🥳 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/390085077-platt-bicycle-seatpost-shim-aluminum-alloy-bike-seat-post-tube](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/390085077-platt-bicycle-seatpost-shim-aluminum-alloy-bike-seat-post-tube) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
