I looked for information on how noisy it was. All I found was a manufacturers comment that it should not be used in the bedroom. Well, at 6am, when the house is pretty quiet, I measured our home office noise level and it registered about 25dB (Mosquito/Quiet paper rustling). I put the cell phone with the noise meter active about 6 ft away and turned on the pump. It registered 69dB. Petty loud for any one room. I then went to the bedroom and closed the door: 40dB. A hum too loud to sleep with.
