Purina Moist & Meaty Soft Dog Food Pouches, 36 ct

This has been a favorite in our house for years! I have two dogs, a Lab and a Chihuahua, and the steak flavor seems to be the clear favorite. I give my Lab two pouches over her dry food and my Chihuahua one pouch. Often, I'll add a little wet food or broth topper for an extra special treat. I keep dry food available throughout the day, so this is their special dinner addition. I also really appreciate the convenience. Amazon often has the better price, and having a 36-pack delivered to my door is so much easier than trying to get a large box home and wrestle it to my car. After using this for years, I can honestly say both of my dogs continue to love it. They are healthy, active, and consistently get good vet checkups. The individual pouches are also very convenient, easy to serve, and make portioning simple. If your dog enjoys soft, meaty food, this is definitely worth trying. My dogs get excited when they see the pouch come out, and after all these years they still haven't gotten tired of it!

Our dogs absolutely lose their minds over this stuff. The second a pouch opens, suddenly every dog in the house develops Olympic-level hearing and appears out of nowhere. 😄 The soft texture is probably the biggest reason it’s such a hit. It works great for dogs that prefer softer food, older dogs, picky eaters, or just as an occasional change from dry kibble. One thing I especially like is the convenience of the individual pouches. They’re easy to open, easy to portion, and make feeding simple without needing to deal with giant cans sitting in the fridge afterward. The steak flavor has definitely been dog-approved around here, and even pickier dogs seem excited about it. We’ve also used it occasionally as a topper mixed into dry food, and it works really well for making regular kibble more appealing. The food itself stays moist and soft inside the sealed pouches without drying out, which makes storage easy too. Obviously this isn’t ultra-premium handcrafted canine fine dining prepared by a tiny dog chef in a Michelin restaurant, but for convenient soft dog food it’s been a big success in our house. Overall, this has been a very convenient, very dog-approved option that disappears extremely fast once feeding time starts.

I have been buying Purina Moist and Meaty for my little guy, for a couple of years now, and it has been an absolute game-changer for us. Taco is a 17-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix. As he got up there in age, he started having a really hard time chewing his usual kibble. He would just sniff at it and walk away, which was so worrying. The texture is perfect for him. It’s soft and easy for his senior teeth to manage, but it’s not mushy or messy—it holds its shape well. He absolutely loves the taste. He gets excited when he sees me pull out a pouch, and he cleans his bowl every single time. From my perspective, I love the convenience. Since my dog is small, one pouch is the perfect single serving for him. The fact that they come in these individual pouches is fantastic because I don't have to worry about a big bag going stale. I just grab one, tear it open, and it’s ready to go. To keep things interesting for him, I actually buy a different flavor box every other month, and he enjoys them all. If you have a senior dog who is struggling with hard food, or just a picky eater who loves soft food, I cannot recommend this enough. It has helped keep my elderly pup eating well in his golden years; it’s worth every penny.

Very pleased. My nearly 14 year old dog had stopped eating her kibble for over two days. I don’t know if it was because of a dental problem or she was feeling poorly. However, I remembered that another dog I had had a similar problem and years back we had purchased. The soft packs for her to eat. Thought I would give it a shot and see if this would be a solution for her today, it was an instant success. Not only is she eating but she’s gobbling it down like she used to when she was younger. Understand it’s not the most nutritious dog food, however, at her age it’s more important for her to eat that it is for me to worry about her nutritional level

Great quality easy portion feedings

Oh my dog loves it. He lost his teeth and could not chew regular dog food. He inhaled 2 pack in 5 min. He walked around the house looking for more licking the floor. I was surprised.He loves it

I have a very aging dog and his teeth aren’t great so over the years it’s been harder and harder for him to eat anything that was along the lines of dried food or kibble. We even started cooking soft foods for him, but unfortunately, that’s just hard to keep up with. When I started looking for some other soft foods, he had no interest in it. I tried the Parina moist and meaty steak flavor, soft dog food and he absolutely loves it and it’s so easy to make his dish they come in little packages. I rip it up Port his dish and he’s all set to go if you have a dog that has issues with their teeth or just isn’t able to eat dry food or hard kibble give this a shot. I’m sure your dog will love it. My dog is only 40 pounds so I give him one package in the morning and one package at night which is perfect for his weight but if you have a larger dog, you’re gonna need 2 to 3 packages so just keep that in mind. I picked up the breakfast moist and meaty at a local store a while back and my dogs LOVED it. They were hooked from the first pouch. As soon as they heard the crinkle of the bag after that they'd be running to me and jumping and going in circles. I decided to change it up with the steak flavor next, but the results were just the opposite. One of my dogs will kind of pick at the bowl, maybe taking a couple pieces and then not touching the rest. My other dog won't eat a single piece. Not sure what it is about this particular flavor. I do think it has kind of a weird smell compared to any other food I've given them so maybe it's that. We'll try the other flavors and see how those go, might just have to stick with the breakfast one.
