Great synthetic oil change, cheaap!
I have been using Castrol GTX Full Synthetic 5W-30 in my 2006 Toyota Prius (Gen 2) for several oil change cycles now, and the results are incredible. Anyone who owns a high-mileage Gen 2 Prius knows they are notorious for burning oil once they cross the 150k-200k mile mark. Mine hasn't started that yet at 177k. The 5W-30 weight provides excellent protection for the aging 1NZ-FXE engine, keeping the internal components clean and running quietly. I noticed a immediate smoothing out of the engine idle when the gas motor kicks on and off. It easily lasts the full 5,000 to 7,500-mile change interval without breaking down or turning into sludge. Plus, buying the 5-quart jug is the perfect amount—the Prius takes about 3.9 quarts for a change, leaving me exactly 1.1 quarts in the jug to use for top-offs between services. If you want to keep your hybrid running past 300,000 miles, skip the cheap stuff and run this. Highly recommended! Perfect compatibility for my Prius, and inexpensive. It was shipped safely, no leakage, and the box wasn't crushed.

I'll say it again; I remember when I changed my oil every 3,000 miles - GTX full synthetic is remarkable!, just the idea of getting 10,000 miles to an oil change I would have never imagined! An aviation mechanic I worked with told me the reason engines last so long today (as compared to yesteryears) is because of the oil technology. I have an old Farm Tractor, and a lot of mechanics say to use the standard non-detergent oils in it. I disagree with the idea that modern detergent oils cause leaks in old machinery. I have seen no evidence of this. Furthermore, if you want to extend the lifetime of an engine, use modern oils that are engineered for the longevity of the engine. Even a comparatively slow-moving old engine really appreciates it! Change your oil with newer oils to prevent sludge from clogging up the small oil capillaries, and micro particles wich build up and act "wet sanding" the inside of your engine!

Excelente y muy confiable para el motor este tipo de aceite, lo cambio cada 5,000 km. Así no lo dejo que se degrade y me deje una capa gruesa de depósitos y sale más caro destapar y limpiar todo el motor, aparte en México no lo encuentro ya que únicamente hay del 3X de protección y este es 6X
