Another in my collection
I had been using Pro Tools forever and there is nothing wrong with them at all but I discovered Babyliss when my stylist used it on my hair one day and I noticed how nicely it held my hair but also let go of it when releasing. Since then I have purchased 2 more sizes and I have been happy with all. They heat up FAST and this 1" size works great for beach waves on shorter hair (my 1.25 in barrel was too big to make a good wave since going shorter). One negative to this one and all that I have is the slide power button is constantly getting slid to the off position and I won't realize it and pretty soon I am wondering my my hair isn't curling. That is a design flaw that many mention and it is definitely true. They just need to make it a stiffer slide so it does not move at the slightest touch. Just keep that in mind when you are curling. Otherwise I am as happy with this one as the others.

Curling Wand for Thick Hair
I am a hairstylist for weddings. One bride has thick hair and the ceramic curling wand was not holding the curl so I did some research. Ceramic wands are wonderful for thin, straight, and hard to curl hair. Titanium is a stronger metal that could cause more damage on the hair but is better for conducting heat and is best for thick hair. I got a ‘75 in. I would say this wand provides Shirley Temple/natural curls

Perfect curls, even second day
It took me a little while to get this down but I love it now. It makes really nice curls and my husband loves it when I do my hair like this. Make sure you use a heat resistant glove so you don't burn your fingers. I use a setting spray. I curl and let them be until they have cooled. Then I use a chop stick and pick them out to loosen. They are always lovely. I use hairspray when I'm done so It'll hold. Even the next day after sleeping on them, I get a nice second day out of the style.
