Great item for price

I wanted this to replace a previous version, the leads of which broke, but it's cheaper to buy a new tester than try to buy new leads. According to the product images it would have been a like for like replacement, giving me a spare unit, but what was sent is slightly different with a different part code on the front and the leads don't fit the previous version. Biggest problem, was that I use the continuity tester display and buzzer to check breaks in audio leads, unfortunately in the item I received there's a delay in the buzzer operating, which makes using it a frustrating experience, so it's being returned. I definitely wouldn't use this type of cheap tester for mains use, but for checking continuity and household battery voltage this type of tester has worked fine for me.
