These are very nice quality test leads. The alligator clips are solid, well built and not at all flimsy. The ends are well stress relieved. The wire is heavy gauge but very flexible so they're using fine copper wires with a high overlap angle, as intended for continuous flex applications. These test leads will not fatigue fail internally from too much bending. This is a quality that I'm accustomed from seeing from Fluke, HP or Tektronix.

I have a few Harbor Freight multimeters that they used to regularly give away. For simple stuff those inexpensive multimeters work great. No need for my Fluke. But the Harbor Freight leads are TERRIBLE. They frequently break and I was told replacement leads at Harbor Freight are the same ones. No good. These leads fit Harbor Freight Multimeter PERFECTLY. Finding replacements was actually a bit hard but not anymore.

Good quality at a good price.

Easy hookup, clips hold very well. Cords are pretty long too which help if you're not on a bench and need some extra length.

I want to like these test leads from Proster. The only challenge I have with them is trust. Having used well known and heavily tested/regulated/certified brands like Fluke for more than 30 years I understand the challenges in getting good quality test gear. Build quality wise, everything about these test leads seem fine - the fit with existing shrouded sockets is great as are the plastics/PVC. Mechanically, the alligator clips work well but don't come across as premium quality. I wasn't able to download datasheets or find manufacturing information or any CAT III certification documentation, which to me is a bit of a red flag. Recommended for hobbyists (and ONLY for non-lethal voltages) but definitely not for professionals.
