Review: PERFECT for a First Year Specials/Co-Curr Teacher - I am not even finished reading this book but I really feel like I learned a ton. I'm new to Responsive Classroom and I thought this book would be good for me as I will be going into my first year teaching Theatre for grades K-4. I have had trouble relating to many class management books as they are intended for mostly self-contained teachers. As soon as I opened this book, I felt that it was talking directly to me and the unique challenges of seeing 20 classes and 600 students in a single week! The chapter on Interactive Modeling alone is worth the book. I love the format they use and they give several examples and provide you with a blank chart to fill out for your own routines and procedures. I'm really excited to continue putting together my classroom management plan!! Can't wait to finish the book. :)

I am not even finished reading this book but I really feel like I learned a ton.
