The Very Best Popcorn
This popcorn is the very best I’ve found. I ordered a large supply of “organic” popcorn that wouldn’t pop correctly and left a lot of unpopped and burnt kernels. I’m so glad I’ve returned to this Orville Redenbacher popcorn. It’s real corn, Non-GMO verified. It pops up beautifully and gets rave reviews from my family. It’s fluffy and crisp, tastes delicious and leaves very few hulls and unpopped kernels. The photo is what I just popped a few minutes ago and all I did was take the lid off the pan and snap the pic. Outstanding.

Great value if you love popcorn
Before I stumbled on this behemoth (and bought it 2 soon to be 3 times now),I didn't know having the option to buy 8 lbs of popcorn was even a thing, but I love that it is (thanks adulthood!) The quality of the kernels has always been good and makes a tasty snack, but the one thing I will say is,the popcorn turns out much better (in my opinion) using a hot air popper like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IUWA?th=1 (The Presto 04820 Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Popper,if the link doesn't work.) then one that goes in the microwave like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004W4UP (The Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper,if the link doesn't work.) I own both of these and always go back to using the hot air popper over the microwave,it makes fluffy flawless popcorn every time, there's a reason this style of popper has been around since the late 70's,because it works, the microwave popper, not so much,I mean unless you like your popcorn dry and crispy with burnt notes, don't waste good popcorn on bad equipment. The jug is pretty heavy when it's full,so if you can't lift heavy things (like me),I suggest putting the popcorn in a smaller container (I use a mason jar with a screw lid),and just refill that when it gets low, instead of hauling out the entire jug (I use the smallest scoop from this set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XC5RKKN?th=1 for refilling - The 3 in 1 Ice Scoop Set, Multi Purpose Plastic Kitchen Scoops,if the link doesn't work) it makes life so much easier, work smarter not harder,as they say. If you love popcorn, and want lots of it,I'd definitely recommend buying it this way,it's a much better deal then what you get in the stores with the bags and jars (the biggest one my local stores carry is 30 oz for around $7.50,although,I did see a different brand with a 60 oz container for around $9.49,so make of that what you will.) I still say you can't go wrong with 8 lbs of popcorn though,as long as they keep making it,I'll keep buying it!

best flavor
I love this popcorn. I have a big 8oz popper and we do large batches in that just fine, not too bad on old maids. the microwave glass popper makes a good sized bowl for the two of us and they come out really nice. this popcorn does have some hulls to it but not too bad compared to other brands. it has a fresh crunch to it, that fluffy but good bite feel if you know what I mean. it tastes great and I pop with organic coconut oil and them put a bit of sea salt on top. if there is left over the next day, i still eat that! the flavor is just right. I used to be a movie theater popcorn fanatic, but as i got older i like to control what i eat more. this is on my subscribe and save. if you eat a lot of popcorn you need this size.

Better than the theatre popcorn and whole lot cheaper
I will buy no other popcorn. I put this in my stainless steel popper with stirrer along with Redenbacher's oil and go to popping. Nearly every kernel pops and they are big and then I go down in front of my big screen and watch a movie. This is the only brand I have bought for the last 20 years maybe and no need to change now just use the same brand of oil.

Good but a little small
It tastes good. I compared with two other brands, this one tastes better than the others but the issue is the kernels are a little too small so it’s doesn’t work well with my machine very well because it blows the kernels out all the time.

Great value popcorn.
I keep buying the same popcorn over and over. I love to try different things, but Orville Redenbacher's product has me hooked. Can't beat it on price and it is always the freshest. Sometimes I put butter in the hot air popper and then it is even better. Honey is enjoyable and just having fun with spices like Mesquite on it is fun. The texture is second to none so there is no competition. Just a great product at a great value.

My Go To Popcorn Kernels for Years
Popcorn is my favorite snack, and I have been purchasing these original kernels in this size for years. I have tried several other brands, but none of them have been as consistent. Just about every kernel pops, and I am rarely left with a large amount of unpopped or burned kernels at the bottom of the pan. The popcorn always comes out fluffy and delicious. Other brands I have tried tend to burn quickly while still leaving quite a few kernels unpopped, so I always come back to these. I usually cook my popcorn on the stove. I recently switched from using a pot to a pan because less condensation collects on the lid and drips onto the popcorn, which helps keep it from becoming soggy. The large 8 pound container lasts a long time and is more economical for someone who eats popcorn regularly. Every time I open a new container, it is filled all the way to the top rather than having a lot of empty space inside. This has been my trusted choice for years, and I have no reason to switch.

The best
Love this popcorn. I purchased a cheaper one prior to this. What a mistake. I was much better off spending a little more for great popcorn. Recommend this any day.

Very happy with this product. Best popcorn I ever had.
Very happy with the quantity for the price. The container is nice with more than enough hand room. As for the quality of the kernels themselves.... Very impressed with what I got. I'd say it's even better than bagged microwave popcorn. More kernels pop. They don't easily scorch (I can put it in for 3:30 without it tasting off, while bagged versions scorch around 3:20 in, with more than quarter tasting off at 3:30). There isn't much "shell" after it pops, leaving you with more of the crispy+fluffy white outer layer. It seems sweeter than other brands, which I am not used to. It's definitely pleasant, but at the same time not what I grew up with. IMO the sweetness blends very well when you add salt and butter and becomes even more addictive than if you were using another type of popcorn. It seems to hold okay with salt and butter, perhaps just a tad slippery/silkier than what I am used to, but I find the touch of it very enjoyable, way better than any kernel I ever touched. It is on the fragile side, so I haven't made caramel version with it yet, mostly out of fear of having too many crumbs. I am sure with glazes it would be fine, but I just don't have any to test it out. Overall, this is an amazing, premium product. I highly recommend giving it a try even if you are a bit hesitant of its mild sweetness as reported in other (and my) reviews. It's very slight. You only notice it because it's not the same as the popcorn you probably had +1,000 times already. I can see myself getting used to it to the point of not noticing anymore.
