Bought these for a new guitar build back in 2023. I wanted a set of strap locks but where I planned to put them I did not want a lever or knob poking me in the belly the whole time I play. Now after years of use I can give an actual thought through real experience. They do their job well and lock solidly and consistently with zero binding or release issues. Most of all they are comfortable on this particular build being flat and low profile. Will be using more on other builds I have planned for the future.

They don't hold the weight of my five string let alone my four string. They pop right off even though secured correctly with a buttons on each side of the strap so not to be pressed while wearing

Im a Metal musician, so the first year of using them worked like a charm. Always stayed on and easy to use and put on. But the fast few shows the strap locks have failed me with the push the buttons feature that it has going on that my straps would fall every time. So TLDR they work, but after a while it becomes less reliable.

I had to give these a shot. Installing was a little fuss but I finely got things to work. After installed they worked. The held while playing. However, to take the strap Off and on, you Need to hold the side butting in or they will not release. In theory that's a good thing, but the buttons are very hard to keep depressed enough to get it to release. Long story short, these hold but putting them on/off will be a task. Oh, they are not tight fitting, they have a lot of play.

I forgot I even had these. Haven't played that guitar for awhile. They are solid and look cool. Definitely recommend.
