This fit almost all of my knives, and I have a set from a knife block plus an extra 5 set from another block plus steak knives. It's very cute, and I like that it has the scissor slot too.

This knife block is cute and functional but the top piece came separated from the swan. And it's impossible to stick it on because of all the mesh in the middle. The block is still functional but that piece really finished off the look and I'm quite annoyed it isn't attached.

We love this knife storage box - it goes perfectly with the colored Martha Stewart knife set we received as a Christmas present. And it universally adapts to any and all knives you may want to store.

Some knife blocks are solid wood with slots. This one takes a different approach. The (red) plastic swan is injection molded shiny red plastic, and inside is a mass of plastic fibers anchored at the bottom and stretching to the top, confined by the sides (the red plastic swan). The result is that you can stab up to about 8 or 9 knives into the black fibers and they are held in place. I ran out of room after about 9 knives. This also means you don't need to put the knives back in the same place each time, just slide them back in anywhere it's convenient. Scissors can be stored at the back like "tail feathers" in a slot halfway down with no fibers inside. The fibers are 8" deep, so a knife with a longer blade not insert all the way to the shaft. It works, and it held my favorite knives no problem. If it's full of knives I really have to look to know which knife I'm grabbing. But my knives are sharp, so this is always a good idea. Unfortunately my wife wasn't impressed with "swan buddy" on the counter, so she is went back to keeping knives in the drawer and is passing this onto a friend. I value ready access to the knives, she values clear kitchen counter tops. She is "the queen of the kitchen," which we agreed upon many years ago, so there you have it... She didn't swoon for the swan. It is a great way to keep your knives safe and protect the blades, which is most important to me. Queens of the kitchen will set their own priorities.

I wanted to love this as I have red in my kitchen, but when I got this the plastic covering this was torn open and the top was detached. It looked like it was a return. I worked out how to put the thing together. I did like that you could fit different sized knives in there. The bottom needs to be heavier as maybe my knives may have been a little heavy when I was testing this, but it tipped over, so it is staying in its box.

Beautiful Swan. Bright red color and it looks great on my kitchen counter. Holds 13 knives and a place for my scissor.

It just arrived. Opened the box and the product was splitting in half of the swan had to pop it back in. Assuming this was just sitting in a warehouse for a good while. Then the top wasnt placed for me so i had to do it myself and it was annoying trying to get every strand of plastic inside in order to put the seal on. This product goes best with pointed knives not straight flat ones for fast easy access not a massive deal but yea mostly pointed goes best. Overall i hive the product 3 stars it does the jib to keep your knives dry but I would rather spend a little more for the wood knives holders. But I only own about 3 so this will do for now. If you don't have many knives this is your product works best with pointed knives.

Love this...it is a conversation piece, and my knives fit perfectly! It's adorable.
