How can I use this pencils ? Is it possible you post a video

Each pencil has a different use & they clean up artifacts nicely.... we use them with other treatments for metal detecting find cleanups.....there are videos from the manufacturer that you can watch, also check you tube.....

Can you remove scratches from silver coins with these?

No. The set is made for removing corrosion and other types of residue encrusting coins, jewelry or relics, not repairing or filling in scratches.

If they are treated the same as a pencil, what makes them different from a pencil?

My Husband says that he uses them & loves them.... they each have different tips for different purposes....For cleaning & detailing.... The term pencil we believe is just due to the shape of the utensil(s).....
