Clark the Shark Takes Heart

We normally adore Clark the Shark books. They have amazing messages and give my act first, think second toddler verbal cues to work through some of her extra wild behaviors just like Clark. This book unfortunately was our least favorite. The story was okay, but lacked the usual shark flare. Also it felt rather gendered and I’m not super interested in introducing the idea of “crushes” to my 3 year old. I’d prefer that to organically occur and address it when it does. Overall it’s an okay story but way below the Clark the Shark par we’ve come to love.

Amazing set of books, grandson loves them all so much that I had to order all of them in the collection.

Clark the Shark provides an engaging story for young children to identify with and provides them with a meaningful example to model their own behaviors. My grandson thinks that Clark the Shark is a "cool guy"!!!

I bought this book for my grandson. This series of books is among the few he will read voluntarily. A good choice for young boys! His sisters also like the book, but something about sharks really appeals to the guys. :)

My 3 1/2 year old grandson loves this book! It has the added bonus of having a character named Anna Angelfish--Anna is his Mom's name, so that makes it extra special!
