Buy the right size for your microphone
This is a review of the PyleUSA 3-panel noise absorbing isolation shield. This item is perfect for my application. The room I record in is 14x20 with sound reflective wall surfaces and ceramic floor tiles, so I get some echo in my recorded narrations. The isolation shield does its job of eliminating these vocal reflections. I have two microphones I can use, a table-top stand mic and a wireless lapel mic. Both of them work with this shield, however the lapel mic (on a stand, not my clothing) works best both in and out of the shield. The shield measures 8.25 inches high with each panel just over 4.25 inches in width. With both "wings" fully extended the total width is right at 13 inches. For storage when not in use, it folds into a 4x4x4 triangle for tucking out of the way. Using the lapel mic, I place the shield directly on the table top with a make-shift stand to get the mic high enough. As I prefer my results using the lapel mic, this configuration feels perfect. Using the stand mic, I mount both the shield and the mic on the stand. While this works OK, I think if I were using this mic daily I would prefer a larger shield. PyleUSA makes a nice variety to choose from. There is also the ambient noise issue. The lapel mic has better built-in noise cancelling than the stand mic. When I did a test recording with the stand mic, there was a noticeable noise floor. This is due to the sensitivity of the mic and does not reflect on the shield. Where ambient noise is an issue, I'd try the PyleUSA Sound Isolation Box (Amazon #B0CXG8HCWB). The build quality of this shield is quite solid and I see no reason for this item to not last many years. I will certainly consider the offerings of PyleUSA for any future acoustical needs.

Solid
I needed a shield to limit or hopefully eliminate spillover noise from the tv while I'm streaming or just hanging out in Discord. This shield did the trick and was even better than I expected. It's solidly made, kind of heavy actually. It was a little bit tricky to mount it with my particular setup because I have a Blue Snowball (big round) mic, mounted on a boom arm so that it hangs down. Once I got my hands to cooperate with me, it's doing exactly what I wanted and even better.

Good value and easy to set up
I recently purchased this product to set up my own home studio and record vocals myself. Just today I was able to mount the shield on my mic stand and honestly it was easy to set up. I followed the instructions which thankfully come in the box, and it just took me 15 minutes to complete the set up. I am happy with the product quality and the money is worth to pay as it is affordable and convenient.

Very good quality
This is a very good product. Build with quality. My recordings are better now I'm using it.

I use the shield to limit the rear lobe of my ribbon mics and it works well for that. There is enough movement available for the mic position to make a sonic difference re: closer to or farther from the foam on the mic mount. A subtle, but crucial difference indeed.

this shield is way too small in height for my mic. After mounting everything, my rode mic still hangs above the shield making it useless. Will probably need a much larger shield.

Needed a small bit of shielding behind the mic in the recording booth, the PSMRS04 was the ideal choice. Easy to mount, easy to position; now that it's in place, I'll never have to move it again. A useful addition to the booth!

Good quality, seems sturdy. Only issue is that mine came with some of the foam looking a little messed up. It's nice that you can adjust lots of the heights/distances, such as the bracket on the back, and it can fold up to encircle the mic almost entirely. It does a decent job of reducing the sound/echoes that it picks up too.

Well made, just a little to small for what I need
