Every so often my back spasms and pulls out one of the lower vertebra out of place. The cold/hot gel backs that can be put in (i would suggest always putting in a gel pack just for comfort against your back) really help and the ability to tighten one side more than the other helps focus the support. It is what it is and that means it comes with the slight discomfort of strapping a large object onto your midsection, but for me the pain almost immediately disappears upon tightening. Yes it is a bit expensive, but when you need pain relief - it is worth it!! PS. I also use an inverter and visit a chiropractor and masseuse to also help keep the back going. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Brace for Sciatica *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on 11 July 2016* While this back brace is expensive, it is well worth the cost. This brace straightens your posture and allows you to apply extra tension to help alleviate the sciatic pain in the region of my lower right back. This brace is also sturdy. I wear it when I play golf and it stays firmly in place without any need to readjust it during the round. I went from struggling to complete the last few holes to finishing with minimal or no sciatic pain.I also wear this brace while driving and it is most pleasant to be able to get out of the car after a few hours without staggering like a drunk.
