I received this about a week or two ago and setting it up was fairly straightforward but instead of hooking the filters up to the faucet I just soaked them in a pitcher it took longer but worked great and the water taste even better than my old water filter system

This is a nice non-electric way of filter water if you want to go off the grid. If you are accustomed to the flavor of reverse osmosis water, this might be a bit of an adjustment. One thing that vastly improves the flavor is if you add about a dozen drops of food grade 30% hydrogen peroxide in the top tank and the bottom tank. And yes, I do know that you’re not supposed to drink hydrogen peroxide. According to the people that built another water system, I was told that in a tank where you draw the water off the bottom to drink it’s safe to add. The hydrogen peroxide is lighter than the water and rises to the top, but it kills bacteria and cleans up the flavor dramatically! It is really quite amazing how good the water taste since I’ve started adding a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to each tank load. Please do not use the kind of hydrogen peroxide that’s formulated for first aid skin care. That has other chemical factors added that are not appropriate to put in your drinking water and may change the dynamic that I explained here.

Hello Amazon friends,I have to start out by saying how excited I was to buy this product. I was watching it for several weeks before purchasing it trying to outweigh the pros and cons and to identify what the best filtration system for the best price for my home was, and this turned out to be it at least that’s what I thought.I’m not going to make this a long-winded review all I will say is I had to return it within a week because it was not functioning the proper way. What I mean by that is everything worked. There was no leaks caveat. I only had it for a week, but there were no leaks the biggest problem and only problem I had with this product was it didn’t filter anything out. Somehow someway, my tapwater was more pure or had a lower parts per million reading than after using the pure well three stage ultra filtration gravity device.Secondly, just a tad bit of information. The instructions on this product are very minimal. This takes common sense. I’m a guy who likes to read the manual and get stuff done the right way the first time but going off scripts because there wasn’t a script and using common sense was cool too, but they’re definitely needs to be instructions for people who aren’t inclined to assembling things.The taste was not good. I know this is a popular review on this product. The taste was not good. The tapwater out of my faucet was better tasting, and some readings were better coming out of the top rather than the pure well.Overall, I purchased a parts per million reader and measured every single tank that was filtered for about a week and it still wasn’t reading any better. I give us a two star only because it looks nice. It’s not too big. It can fit in many places in the kitchen, you can travel with it if you need to it actually does filter pretty rapidly, but it doesn’t really filter anything out at all. I looked up videos on YouTube to see if I was doing everything right and it turns out I was, but the product itself it must’ve been faulty or just not a legit filtration device.I hope this helps. I would love to have this product again if they had a better filter or filtering system inside, but this one isn’t it

Love this. We are living at the lake and the water here has a funny taste. I’m not real sure what it is but this was a game changer. We just got it and I tested the normal water and this filtered water and the taste is “night and day.” Easy to put together, easy to hand-wash. Well priced for the results we got.

Very good water purifier. Works real well
