Personellment je les ai utilisées en premier pour faire des adaptateur volant d'une alim 5v + 12 V, qui a une sortie male Mini-DIN 6 Broches, vers un connecteur molex pour une alim externe d'un lecteur de DVD pour boitier PC

Not well-suited for S-Video connections.
6-pin mini-DIN is commonly used for PS/2-style mouse and keyboard connections. 6-pin mini-DIN is not commonly used for s-video connectors, and does not accept standard s-video cable connections (plastic key pin does not fit). Quality product otherwise. Please update product description to clarify. Thank you.

Designed for PCB mounting
These are fairly typical chassis mount mini-DIN sockets as used for PS/2 serial keyboards. Rather than having solder-tags for cable mounting, they are equipped with 8 solder pins for through-board mounting to a PCB. With care, they can be used with a soldered cable, but will require strain relief using heat-shrink tubing on each soldered pin, and possibly overall as well. Chassis mounting may be either using a thread-cutting screw or a 12mm long M2 screw with a loose nut. Overall, excellent value for money but fine soldering experience is recommended.
