Natural rubber... no slipping. Best mat ever

In the world of PVC products, it is hard for me to comprehend how one can extract the 6 most dangerous chemicals from PVC & have it 'approved' as toxic free. It is still PVC, a vinyl product, and there's no way one could create a safe product out of something so toxic (same with silicone baking products). My opinion of course & after reviewing all the mats currently on the market, it is what I have deduced. This mat arrived & has performed exactly as described - natural rubber, lovely colors, and the grip on this mat is unbelievable! Very cushy as well. Easy to clean & mine did not have a lingering new tire smell either - even upon first opening the box. I did leave mine to hang for a few days as recommended & have not experienced discomfort in any way. Great product. After researching the mats available, this is the only company that not only uses natural materials but they also plant trees with every purchase. Sustainable! Love it. Highly recommended.

Mit dieser Yogamatte macht die Yogapraxis Spaß. Der Halt, selbst bei schweisstreibendem Ashtanga oder Powervinyasa Yoga ist perfekt und die Länge würde ich unbedingt empfehlen. Die Matte sollte jedoch auf keinen Fall in die Sonne, welches auch angeraten wird. Dieses habe ich ignoriert und nun musste ich mein 2.Modell bestellen, da die Oberfläche rutschig wurde nach einigen Yogastunden im Freien. Die Matte ist schwerer als andere und am Anfang kann sie nach stark Gummi riechen, etwa wie ein Fahrradreifen, dieses verflüchtigt sich aber bald. Kann die Matte uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

La esterilla tiene un agarre muy bueno y es de muy buena calidad. Le veo tres pegas, se le pega el polvo, se carga de electricidad estática y huele mucho a caucho, aunque con el tiempo el olor cede un poco. Para quitar el polvo uso un trapo húmedo. Si quieres mantenerla limpia hay que limpiarla siempre después de usarla.

After 4 years of MUCH practice and many travels with my first "Harmony", it was time for a change. I tried a couple other mats and was continuously reminded as to why I practice only with Jade. The grip is perfect for hot yoga. The weight is perfect for not only going to and from various classes but also for travel. The durability makes this mat worth every cent. *** I still have my first mat and can very much still practice with it however, like I mentioned, I was ready for a change. Most importantly, it's thick enough to keep me "cushioned" but not too much where I don't feel "grounded". It arrived sooner then I expected... SO HAPPY!!! Oh! Yes it has a "new tire" kind of smell upon arrival but nothing a good airing out (over night) and a couple practices won't fix. Namaste and with MUCH gratitude...

TL;DR Fantastic mat I have always had a problem with hand and foot sweat which has caused many awkward fidgeting during poses. I have bought mats that have claimed to be "non-slip" and they have done the exact opposite. With this mat, although it is expensive, you can guarantee that you will not slip and is ready to use as soon as it arrives.
