I am a floral designer. I cut a 2.5” gash across the back of my hand with my extremely sharp design knife, (it was a stupid move). It cut through the myelin sheath and down to the muscle. The muscle was visible. The person at the desk at Urgent Care advised me that they were short handed and there was no one available to stitch me up. He told me to call in the morning and make an appointment for the next day without even having someone look at my injury. I went home and ordered these wound closure devices. They arrived at 9:00am the next morning. I used Herbal Stitches and manuka honey to treat and clean the wound and to prevent infection and closed my deep wound with 3 of these devices. It’s been 12 days and the cut is healing nicely… no stitches. I will be ordering a few boxes of these to have on hand in my first aid kit!!!! Having them in advance of the accident is the only thing that would have been better!!

These are better than anything the ER has. For young kids this is way better than stitches. They just work!

really helpful to have these a great addition to any home first aid kit or travel kit after receiving terrible stitches in the emergency room and feeling I could do better myself. This was actually great for us. This is now a staple item in the first aid kit for my kids.

Does a great job of closing a wound Better than stitches

Sliced my middle finger on concrete years ago when I was working. It was a 1" long slice. Didn't feel like going to the hospital. Used these and had a pleasant experience. It healed very well. Years later and the scar is almost invisible. It was quite grosse sealing the wound but stitches would have been grosse and painful as well. I made sure to put polysporin antibiotic gel on the wound and put a covering over the closure when I was working. Used normal bandaid at first and the wound kept popping open which is why I then used this style. Works great will always keep them on hand !

Have not used. Looks impressive. Avoids stitches.
