DM-50D-W 5” desktop monitor (White)

For those who are interested - my setup: 1 Lenovo All-in-One PC, 27inch screen. Pair of these speakers sat either sat of that. 1 Pioneer FLX-10 DJ Controller connected directly to the speakers and connected via USB-C to the computer. I run Rekordbox software for DJing. My system sounds delightful. The option to switch between production and DJ bass on the back of the speakers really makes a difference. The DJ option gives a warmer analogue feel to digital tracks. The sound from these speakers is lovely and full bodied. I previously had a BOSE setup with woofer, which was good, but really dated having purchased them over ten years ago. Buying these came with questions at the beginning. Would they provide the same level of deep bass I was used to from the Woofer? Would it all be difficult to adapt to, because what was once shaking the walls, is now just tinny and confined into two 5' speakers? Would I end up going back to the Bose's, because I had been firmly programmed to accept music that way and now the thought of losing that extra drone would fail to satisfy? None of that mattered. I was amazed at how much the tech had obviously moved on upon testing and how good these speakers were. The sound from them far exceeded my expectations and I threw the Bose's out. Due to the high quality soundcard in the DJ controller I own, everything sounds epic, even MP3s of medium to high quality. I use my system most days for jamming/recreation and despite not costing the absolute world to purchase, they are offering me endless fun, keeping me impressed and engaged, and I am very content with my setup. Build quality is to be expected from Pioneer. For me, these speakers have really been the business and when I purchased they were also on deal, so the perfect bargain. Loudness is more than loud enough. If you want building shakers, go to a club and leave your neighbours in peace. Nobody wants that kind of 'neighbour'. Be considerate, be polite and remember, you can enjoy DJ and music, without making everyone else hear you too. Recommended for all levels of DJ & producer really. I consider it to be close to a perfect home setup. Nothing major, nothing too brash, nothing too expensive. It's all affordable quality with amazing results - you'll be surprised how much these speakers offer. If the signal going into them is clean and your music files are of a decent quality, these will really sound good and will not break the bank.

I use these with an electric drum kit. Ipad plays drumless tracks into drums kit and drum kit pumps sound to speakers. Good sound, easily hear drums and drumless track. Very happy with them, would recommend for electric drums.

Bought these for my nephew for Christmas, he was ecstatic. Wants to be a DJ on the side and says the sound quality is stop on . One happy chappy. Good value for money and good size .
