Very difficult to use. Nearly impossible to shred a whole cabbage.
I don't know what others are raving about. Or they know some secret trick to make it work. I've used it 2 times and have had so much difficulty to shred cabbage. I got a light loose cabbage first time so I thought may be it's meant to shred tight cabbage. But the second time with good hard cabbage was just the same disappointment as previous time. The cabbage just slides over the slippery top. And you need to pre-cut it, so it can be held properly using the spike accessory. All the leaves fall apart and you are left with a mess. Both times I gave up and just resorted to good old knife. Oh it also does not have any support so it keeps swinging back and forth. So you need to be EXTRA careful it doesn't slide and cut your thumb off. Not recommended to buy AT ALL!

Excellent, works great. Effortlessly slices cabbage. Blade extremely sharp, so make sure to use the cabbage holding when sliding the cabbage across the blade.
