Can morals be grown in your basement?

No. Our kit is an outdoor kit. Like gardening.

Can they be grown in a garden box?

If our doors & ib contact with the earth, then yes.

How do we prepare the soil? should they be in sun or shade? are particular trees required? do i need to add certain mulch each year?

We provide complete instructions in kit. Use a partially shaded garden area as small as 4 – 5 sq. ft. Morel Habitats are perennial and may be started any time your soil is workable – Spring, Summer, Fall and even Winter (in areas with a mild climate). Morel Habitats may be started in any type of soil and have produced morel mushrooms in all areas of the United States that have a definite spring – transition from winter to summer. Care for once or twice a month.
