Color Pro Cordless Rechargeable Hair Clipper & Trimmer, Color Guards

I cut my own hair using the #1 trimmer. I have used my previous one for at least a decade before the guild finally broke. I tried to find replacements for the guilds but they dont make them anymore. And the cost of this wasnt all that much more then just the replacement guides. This thing works great. Its enjoyable to use and not have it catch. Its very sharp. Pretty versatile if you are wanting a trimmer for your beard as well. Holds a charge for a long time. There are two things I would change. First, the #1 guide is not as short as my old one. I have to trim my hair a little more often. So kind of annoying. Second, I cant say for sure, but it doesnt seem to ever stop charging. The red charging light never turns off. With the price pretty low, I dont have a lot of confidence in just leaving it plugged in due to the possibility the batteries are on the cheaper side. And with there being a fire hazard with cheap batteries and possible constant power usage, I just leave it unplugged. I plug it in when Im using it. Which kinda defeats the purpose of a cordless trimmer.

This hair clipper works really well! It’s easy to handle, cuts smoothly, and doesn’t pull on the hair. The blades are sharp, the battery lasts a long time, and it’s convenient for both quick trims and full haircuts. It also feels sturdy and well-made. As a father of three young boys, this product was a must in my household to try to keep the cost of monthly haircuts down. As a beginner and after using this product for a couple of times now I would have to say that I am happy with the result and the quality. I appreciate the colored guards to make fading and overall haircut a lot easier to handle. It is a pretty powerful motor and does a really good job in handling simple fades and blends. I would recommend getting a smaller trimmer for those detailed areas and to line the back up, but other than that, I really enjoyed the product and would recommend for any beginner and intermediate user.

I’m a single mom to a 2 1/2 year-old whose hair gets long/in the way quickly and I like to trim it for him in the summertime frequently but when I use scissors it always looks choppy. I was nervous to use clippers for the first time since I never have but I’m so happy that I did after seeing another Mom on YouTube who recommended these. ALL clippers should have the same color key and colored guards these do it’s honestly so brilliant. I don’t know why anyone uses anything else. I used the green second longest one and his hair still came out really short so if it’s your first time I would do the same. It was my first time cutting his hair and all things considered I think it looked great. I was nervous it would be too loud but I’m not sure that anything else would be better It seemed fine and not excessive. I was so proud of both me and him! The only improvement I would make is having directions that are less long and specific to these clippers. Maybe even make them a little more fool proof (I personally didn’t even know which side was supposed to be on his head). The directions they give you are basically to all Wahl clippers so the cleaning of it I had to look up/ask chatgpt about too. Granted we’ve only used them once but I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend/purchase again. They also were charged enough when they arrived so I could use them right away which I really appreciated. The directions say to charge it fully before first use which I didn’t do so hopefully it’s fine. I’ll update my review if anything changes but if you’re going to buy clippers as a mom these are 100% the ones I would recommend.

I bought this Wahl cordless rechargeable hair clipper and after 1 year love it and have saved a lot of money. Where I live even a kids haircut is 14 dollars. You can learn to cut hair it isn't to hard. So this unit is a rechargeable hair clipper and it holds a very long charge. I have done 8 cuts using it and it still was running fine. Once done cleanup is easy with some tissue, small brush and a spray cleaning solution if you desire then you add a touch of clipper oil (comes with that). It comes with 8 clipper sizes and you can use it without a clipper blade to get almost a skin close shave. It's pretty quite and doesn't vibrate much at all. Charging does not take long and there is an indicator light. In the case it comes with the charger, scissors, comb and oil. I use this on all 4 of my kids both boys and girls, the youngest being age 4 and being so quite they don't feel scared nor cry. It's very safe and they said comfortable. It's very versatile with any type of hair being thin, thick, straight or curly (my kids all have different styles). I enjoy cutting their hair and saving money. No complaints here, good quality and a great price. It will pay for itself in 4 cuts

These cordless hair trimmers have been such a great addition to our grooming routine! I love not having to deal with a cord getting in the way, and they’re super easy to grab and use whenever we need them. Great clipper with many comb sizes available. There are larger sizes available then what is included in the kit. I use this to cut my own hair. I was originally thinking I would just use it to make small adjustments to help extend the length between going to the hair stylist. With the discovery of the 1.5" wahl guide comb I am able to cut the hair on the top of my head, very easy to do with the cordless. Cutting the sides requires a little thinking because I have 5/8" on the sides and back. After watching a couple on-line videos on how to cut hair with clippers I realized what needs to be done. Whenever I go to the hair stylist I always get let down with the cut. The last time was the breaking point, it seemed like everything I was asked was just thrown out and my hair was cut their way. Very frustrating to say the least. I thought that in the worst case I could do no worse. What I did was get one last hair cut after I purchased this clipper. I watched very closely how it was done, not too close on the parts I didn't like. Any way, I went home and put a guide comb on the clipper and with the clipper off, I pushed it through my hair. I was able to find which guide comb was used on my head and how far up the sides. I have 5/8" on the sides and back and 1.5"; on the top. Wahl makes the 1.5"; guide comb which really makes the deal. I put the 1.5" comb on the clipper and turned it on then ran it over my head, it just cut some stray hairs but I was able to see just how easy it was to use, I could hold it at all the angles needed to run over the top of my head. Overrunning the sides and back were no issue since they are shorter. Then I put on the clipper for the sides and ran it around. The area where the sides/back meet the top need to be blended gradually which is really easy using the technique on the Wahl website and shown in the instruction book, called blending. The blending is using the rocking motion at the end of cut, the photo in the instructions and the video make it clear. Same technique my hair stylist used too. So far I have done 3 hair cuts, I cut more often because there is no charge and I figured if I messed up the problem would be small. The result was amazingly good and took almost no skill. The hardest part is squaring off the back, kind of hard to look in a mirror and watch while moving the clipper. I just did several dry runs, with the clipper off till I felt I had the technique correct then turned it on and cut. Perfect results. Now I cut my hair in the morning before taking a shower, no lost time sitting in a hair cut shop waiting to have a less than average hair cut. I received 12 guide comb attachments with the clipper. I think there was more than the basic set. Very happy with the quality of the combs. The clipper feels good and it is not too heavy. No cord really helps cutting your own hair. The case is a soft zipper case, holds everything in it. It is ok quality. I have not yet ran a change out on the clipper, it lasts longer than I could possibly use it. Perhaps for several hair cuts it would not make it but for one person no issue. The rechargeable battery is the weak point, the instructions say it will only last 3-5 years. Seems short but the instructions also say the clipper can be used with the cord plugged in. So that would be the back for one day when it finally gives up. This really changed my mind on cutting my own hair. It is no harder than trimming a beard, really easy for me to pick up. If you ever thought about cutting your own hair give it a try, you may be surprised how easy it can be. Just get it cut one more time at the hair stylist then go home and run the clipper with the comb attached, no power and see what was cut to which point. That really helps teach you how to cut. UPDATE: I have been using this clipper to cut my own hair for over 1 year. I have improved cutting my hair a bit. I cut my hair more often these days because it is no charge and I like to maintain the same general look. I'm amazed at how easy it is to cut my own hair, I should have tried this years ago. It has become so easy to cut my own hair I hardly think about it any more. I have become better at cutting my own hair so that it looks the way I like it. And I can repeat it easily. My wife likes the way it looks too.

Writing review after 2 hair cutting and 3 beard trimming. Quality of this product is good. You need to read usage manual properly to better use of the product. Best suits for any barber shop. For home use, you need to be patient as it takes 12 hours to fully charge.
